Three orphaned siblings are forced upon confirmed bachelor Donovan (Bixby) in a 19th century boom town of Quake City, CA. After an earthquake shakes the area, the children find a large gold nugget worth tens of thousands of dollars. But their newfound wealth is causing more problems than it's solving, so they agree to "give" the gold to two bumbling outlaws (Knotts & Conway). But they only way they can get the gold is to steal it from the bank vault where it's being held for safe keeping. This is perfect for family to watch, it's clean and funny for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommended for everyone to get this movie plus Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again. Any kind of Walt Disney movie is very good to have part of your collection, better than any movies they have now a days. That is not fit for family to watch let alone children.

This movie is a great, fun for family movie. There's no swearing. There's comic "violence". It has a pair of all time great comedians as the "bad guys." I showed this to my day care children and now that's all they want to watch.

Don Knotts always was a great comic and when he teamed up with Tim Conway it was a fabulous duo much in the same vein as Abbott & Costello, Laurel & Hardy, and many others. A good movie for young kids and the whole family.
