This computer is awesome, and is loved throughout our family. Unlike the crappy 3573, this one has class, it's sleek, and so, so GOOD! It's so good, I keep saying it's good because words don't exist to describe it's amazingness. That is enough said
So far, I like the laptop. This model works fast and not any real problems or hiccups. I think I would like a backlit keyboard and the trackpad is a bit tricky to use. Software/apps load pretty fast. Note that the laptop does not have a dvd/cd, but you can pick up an external for less than $25. I don't play any games but if you use image editing software, no crashing or stalling occurrences.
This laptop has thermal issues (from day one). I have returned it to Dell twice. Both times they claimed to have repaired the issue by replacing the heatsink and fan (even replaced a melted bottom case), but the problem was never resolved. The constant overheating have rendered the laptop unusable. Battery life went to zero. Plug in charger has ceased to function reliably (connectors not making proper contact) so now I can't even use it plugged in. Was able to migrate data to a backup prior to it dying totally, but has been a huge disappointment.
