Purchase came earlier than expected. I love site to store. Great product!
I bought this product to use specifically to make Skype calls from my laptops. It works great for Skype calls on my Lenovo laptop, calls are clear to hear and the people I call can hear me just fine. There is a volume control on the cord, as well as a mute button, and both of those work fine but I could not get the call button to work. It also works great for the speech recognition program on ease of access on both my laptops. However, When it tried to make Skype calls on my Pavilion g6 laptop I could hear the person I was calling just fine but the people I called all complained that there was too much static when I talked and they could barely hear or make out what I was saying. Do not know why it works on one laptop but not the other.
The earphones are a little larger, and heavier, than I had expected. But, it's not a problem. Also, the headband feels a little flimsy. I am going to be careful so it does not break. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The quality is quite good, especially when you consider the price. The Walmart delivery was great, too.
This headset is great ~ Price was inexpensive -does the same as the expensive ones microphone works good and comfortable on the head and ears
I like the fit, and the volume up and down and mute and phone built in the set. I have less reaching to do. They make my job easier and I no longer have to strain to hear one customer and the next is way to loud I have more control over the volume of the call. I am very happy with the Plantronics Audio 628 Stereo USB Headset!
I needed a headset for my laptop to Skype with and a friend had this headset. Used hers a time or two and fell in love. Had to get one for myself. Very comfortable on my head for hours on end. Voices come in clear and output is clear also. I recommend to everyone I know.
I use Linux, and sadly Plantronics doesn't support Linux, so the headset doesn't work completely as advertised. Linux buyer beware, the in-line controls don't function unless you do a little fiddling in your audio settings.
I ordered this headset as a requirement to work from home. It is working as expected and it is comfortable to wear. The sound quality is crisp and clear and the controls for mute and volume are close at hand and a cinch to use. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it.
This headset is nice for it's price. I'll give it that. Everything is very nice. The sound is great, the mic is above average too. But one thing about it makes me wish I had gone with another. The headset is made out of plastic so you'd think there would be padding. But there isn't......... the top of the headset is angled so when you put it on, even in the exact position, it pokes the top of your head. Making it VERY uncomfortable. Not to mention the edge is kind of sharp. I could not wear this for more than ten minutes until I took the padding from my old headset and sowed it on. Once I did that it was great.
I got it and it kept shutting off my computer. It interrupted a week worth of work for me. It got hot on the cord and it gave me nothing but problems with the software and hardware. I would never buy this headset if I knew how terrible it was.
