The candle works at keeping the mosquitoes away however the wick burns only the middle and then I'm left with alot of unused wax.. really need a better way to use all of it to burn
Candle works for small areas but half of the candle gets wasted because there's only 1 wick and only tge middle melts leaving surrounding wax
I bought two of these bucket citronella candles and they have been a frustration to try and use. The 'wax' material melts in direct sunlight, covering wick and making it a task to melt the wax around the wick just to get it to light. By the time I've got it lit, I've been attacked by mosquitoes.
As a candle that is sold right next to the Off! bug spray, let me tell you...this things repels meteorites, pterodactyls, king cobras, land slides, dodo birds, and so far poltergeists. As for mosquitoes, don't waste your money. Unfortunately, it is stated on the packaging that " it does not repel mosquitoes". Oh yeah and hopefully this one wick will stay lit.
The 3 wick doesn't lit... I wish I could get a refund.. I live by the sprays... I thought I'll try the candle for the first time..
Why did I buy An OFF citronella candle That doesn't repel mosquitoes?
We were having a insect problem all around a small sitting outside. We bought this in hopes that it would take care of it and we can enjoy the outdoors. Very disappointed there are bugs everywhere all over us and they don't even seem to be fazed by the candle.
Why would I buy an OFF! citronella candle for any reason other than repelling mosquitos? They did print "not intended to repel mosquitoes" on the packaging, but of course I didn't see that until after I ripped it open. It was shelved with the bug repellent, not the aromatherapy candles. I have an expectation!
I bought this hoping to ward off masquitos. It has no affect at all !! The candel is set in the middle if my patio table, no wind, under a gazebo. And still the masquitos are buzzing around me. I can say I will not buy this again. I was very disappointed, I have always enjoyed Off brand. Regards, Mary Hurst
When my wife opened this newly purchased bucket today, she said, "Isn't there supposed to be a wick?" Sure enough, there is no wick -- just an empty hole. Do we need to return this to the store, or do you handle quality problems directly?
