This doll was given to my 7 year old daughter for Christmas along with the Tracy doll. She is a Hairspray lover and she absolutely adored this doll. She chose this doll to take to show at school out of all her Christmas toys.
I don't know what happened to the last persons' dolls but mine work great! So cute - the songs are clear and easy to hear. A must have for collectors and movie fans of all ages.
At first I thought he did not sing very much, then we opened him.... he sings quite a bit. My daughter absolutely loves this and it has actually taken her attention off of High School Musical for once. (which is a plus!) She likes Link better than Troy so HSM is on the back burner now. I would recommend this for anyone who loves Hairspray or Zach Efron.
I bought this and the Hairspray talking Tracy doll and the Link doll didn't work.
