love the taste, and I am considering using it in some restaurant recipes
I used this with the cacao butter (same brand) and some ground coconut sugar to make amazing home made chocolate! Will purchase more soon.
Good flavor for making chocolate bark - I prefer it over cocoa butter - but it’s pretty chalky and dry to eat plain. But when I go to reorder it, it’s nearly impossible to find it on the website. Why??
These cacao paste chunks are pretty tasty. They are unsweetened, but are inherently a little sweet and I enjoy them with nuts or dried fruit.
I had originally bought a 2lb bag to try to make a more raw version of homemade chocolate. I loved the idea of organic Cacao Paste instead of having to mix cacao butter and coconut oil and cacao powder to make homemade chocolate! The Organic Cacao Paste has a superior taste and smoothness! I am so happy with the quality of this product I have already bought a 4lb bag! Everyone who has tried my homemade chocolate with this Organic Cacao Paste has fallen in love with it as well! I consider myself a chocoholic from way back. For years, I gave up chocolate cakes, candy, etc. A thousand bites was never enough and 1 was too many. Then, I discovered F2Live cacao nibs. They allow me to enjoy the taste & health benefits of chocolate without the addiction. They’re like eating a healthy nut, only… it’s CHOCOLATE! But, they’re not very versatile, so I became curious to try cacao paste. OMG!! Melts to a velvety smoothness. I used it with soft tofu, liquid stevia, & other ingredients (recipe by Food Impromptu) to make a heavenly tart that’s also healthy. No sugar, no Dutch process, no added anything. Sublime! Tonight, I plan to drizzle some over fresh strawberries. It’s also awesome melted together & mixed with almond butter and stevia on toast. Like eating birthday cake for breakfast! I love F2L! I’m about ready to order more barley - low glycemic cuz hulled, not pearled. It’s not easy to find, esp at this price. I’ve been very much enjoying the blackeyed peas I bought here, too. F2Live lives up to their name! Eating healthy got way tastier.

The package says from Peru, but it reminds me of the paste from Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, i am satisfied. My paste was in cube-like chunks, not the crumbly chunks as in the picture, fyi..
The organic cacao paste is really good at a great price. I have tried a variety of organic cacao pastes and this is the one I plan to stick with. Thank you for making organic affordable and available so we have an option to thrive! Some organic cacao pastes differ in that they are a tad dry or bitter but this one I bought for my father and I is a little velvety and peanut buttery. Thanks again, I will be a repeat customer.
It was strange, could be old, or just poor quality. I chop it to help it melt faster, and it was very dry and crumbly; the middle was a different color, light brown, with little holes. I wouldn’t buy it again.
