I didn't have high hopes for the eyeliner, but it surprised me. The eye liner stays on all day, and I have to wash my face extremely well at night to get it all off. It applies really easily, and smoothly. The top part of the applicator is black, and sometimes it's hard to tell how much of the eyeliner you're working with. It's not the easiest eyeliner applicator to work either, sometimes it's a little difficult to twist the applicator to get more eyeliner. I wish this would have come with the smudge applicator at the end like Cover Girl does, just because I use it so much. I would purchase this on my own.
I have been using this mascara for years, it is my go to. It curls my stubborn lashes, it separates, adds volumn and lengthens them. It doesn't flake either.
If used on angle (opening is slanted), able to make precision detailing of brows, fill in any gaps or define lighter hairlines to preference Less waste than other brow pencils. Needs no sharpening. Very impressed! (Go lighter if you want precision detailing entire browline)
I love this mascara! It is by far my favorite. I have tried some that leave clumps and/or that are too thin but not this mascara. This mascara can do it all. It can give you length and volume or you can just brush them once or twice for less volume or length. I love that this mascara does not clump unless if you over do it by overlapping layers. Other than that, it can make your lashes look like false lashes. I get asked several time what lashes do I wear and I tell them they are mine. Therefore, I highly recommend this brand and product.
The Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Automatic Eye Pencil is a new product. With a 1.8 mm micro tip (that's small!), the eye pencil creates a very slim, fine line. It is the thinnest eyeliner I have ever used. It is a gel eyeliner that glides on ultra-smoothly and does not tug at your eyelid when applied. It blends easily. A little goes a long way. If applied in the morning, it will last all day and night without a need to re-apply. It is waterproof. That means you can wear it swimming or still look good if you happen to cry a lot. The color I tried, refined charcoal is a very soft color and creates a pretty effect. I plan on going back to Walmart and see if there is a soft brown or taupe color available. I have used Maybelline products for many (many!) years and their new line of eye make-up is impressive.
I wanted to try a different type of eyeliner, one that would be easier to apply and had staying power. This Maybelline Precise Skinny Eyeliner hits the mark on both. I normally use a kohl type of eyeliner pencil but get frustrated at how temperamental those types of liners can be when trying to get a more precise around my eyes. I use this product every day and am improving with my technique with each application. The Pros: Makes a nice, smooth line. Lasts all day without smudging or flaking. No sharpening needed, which is always a bonus. The Cons: VERY skinny barrel which can make the pencil a little difficult to hold. The tip breaks off very easily which can be frustrating when midway through the process of making your line. Products runs out rather quickly with moderate use. The bottom line: A good product if you are wanting a more precise, skinnier line. It becomes easier to apply with practice and it glides on smoothly. Overall, a great product that is worth trying. *I have attached 2 photos to show the difference in the thickness of the lines as compared to a normal sized eyeliner pencil and to show the size of the product itself*
I received this product the other day and I wanted to write a review once I'd used it for at least 24 hours. The gel part is a bit incorrect, its more like a crayon type solution that is adjustable as you use the product. I think it would be okay for after hours partying but its not a 24 hour stay on product. Would I purchase it again ? Yes, I would, because I like the adjustable twist that allows you to use more liner opposed to the older ones where you have to sharpen them. I wasn't able to upload a photo of myself so I used another photo of someone who used the same product yet with similar results. Hope this helps.
While I like the color & how this eyeliner truly "glides" on, I'm not sure how long this product will last. There is no way to visibly see how much you are using &/or how much is left. It is in a plastic stick type applicator so there is no way to tell when you're running low. Both my daughter & I used this product & both liked the way it applied & how it looked once applied. I would recommend this type of liner but would also recommend purchasing 2 - Because I wouldn't want to run out!
The first thing I noticed is that the name fits this eye liner. It is very skinny and when I took cap off I couldn't believe how skinny the point is. The point rolls up by turning the barrel/tube and you hear tiny clicks as you roll it up. I like this because it makes me think that it won't fall back down into the tube. You can adjust how much or how little you want out and it creates very fine lines which is perfect if you want a very minimal amount of eye liner on. It is rich and applied right away with having to run it over my lower lids a few times to warm it up and get it started. I usually use the same eye liner for my upper and lower lid on my eyebrows as well. I do so trying this one out but found that it was hard to blend and not use too much on my brows since the product is so rich. I did my best to blend my brows with a brow brush but as you can see in the before picture ( no make up ) and after picture (just this liner on my lids and brows ) its better for an eye liner than an eyebrow liner. No complaints though. I like it and its precision. Check out my pics and quick video
Looks good on skin but impossible to use after it flattens. The ONLY way to get more product out of the applicator is to sharpen the plastic which leads to either A) dangerously pointy sharp plastic edges that are unsafe for using on the eye or B) the gel eyeliner breaking off completely. It's not self sharpening, so there's no way of twisting up or pushing out the gel. I'm so upset about this waste of money. The worst design for eyeliner I've ever seen, much less used.
