I was looking to add Mega Blocks to a small set my (2-1/2 & 8 months) grandchildren had. These are something we can all sit on the floor together and play with. This particular set was a great deal at WalMart, so I was excited to order for Christmas. They came and just what I had hoped for. I know my grandchildren will be happy to have more blocks to add to what they already have.
the kids love it they are always playing with it and trying to see how big and tall they can go
Bought these for my 1st grandson who is 16mos old and I know he'll love them. They will be great for hand-eye coordination.

I purchased this item for my daughter she does not play with it, but she doesn't play with any toys. It is a great to for learning.I myself do play with it and her cousins love this toy. Grto to keep children entertained
I purchased these blocks for my 2 year old son. I wanted them big so that he (and my 7 months old daughter) would not put in there mouths and swallom them. Some of the blocks snap on together kind of loose but their still great. My kids throw them, build them up, knock them down, hit them together, etc. This blocks are great if your not looking to spend to much and I do believe they are for smallaer childen.
I thought this would be better but I guess my expectations were higher. I should of spent and extra $5-$10 on something with a tub and more variety of pieces.
I was very disappointed when I dumped the huge box out on the floor Christmas morning and only had a small pile of blocks. The majority of these blocks were the 1x1 square ones. You can't really build anything with them except a tower. there are 3 of the skinny 1x4 rectangles, 3 thick 3x1 rectangles, 4 skinny 2x2 squares, 14 thick 1x2 rectangles, 25 skinny 1x2 rectangles, and 54 1x1 squares. I will be returning these and have called others that I had also purchased these for to recommend they do the same.
My son LOVES mega bloks. Now that he is getting older it is hard to build anything cool with the bag he already has so I thought I would get this box of 100 to add to his stash. I was so disappointed to see that almost all of the blocks in the box are the small ones. There are only 6 or 7 blocks in the whole box that have more than 2 connector things on them. Like we really needed 70+ more single blocks! Also, I'm disappointed that they would use such a huge box for a product that could fit in a box half the size. What a waste of resources!
