I love that beaniac coffee pods are environmentally friendly compared to other K-cup pods. I have the Full On French Roast flavor which gives a cup of rich hearty coffee. I haven't experienced any issues with getting coffee grounds in my cup like I've had to with brands. The box came with two sealed bags that can be rolled down to maintain the freshness. Once opened, I like to keep the bag stored in my refrigerator to keep it even fresher.
This is the first time trying Beaniac Organic Full On French Roast Dark. I love the low waste pods, friendlier for the environment and worked fine in my Keurig. The coffee has a nice coffee shop aroma while brewing. The taste was deep, full bodied and rich. There was no bitterness at all, smooth for a dark coffee. I will be buying this coffee again, I highly recommend it.
These pods are very easy to use. And the coffee tastes great. Also I like the variety in flavor. I got the dark roast and it has a nice robust flavor. The fact it's organic gives me peace of mind that it's relatively healthy.
These are for working with Kcup machines. There is still some plastic around as a rim but overall there is much less plastic than conventional pods. They come in the box within two separate resealable pouches. The aroma is intense. The flavor is bold and deep.
Delicious organic and really Dark Roasted French Arabica Coffee. It has been always my preferred flavor on one of the best pods I have ever seem. Very convenient individual coffee pots perfect for the right taste. I appreciate this are non plastic cups 100% compostable so definitely has becomes my favorites.
Great quality coffee. As soon as I opened the bag you can smell the freshness and the great coffee smell. The taste is the same, nice and bold. I actually don’t want to leave it too long because it smells and tastes so good right now. The pods work just as good as the plastic ones too.
This is really good coffee. I love coffee and drink a lot of it. I use k-cups for my coffee. This coffee is a little bit more expensive than what I normally brew but once I opened it up and smelled it, I could tell why it was more expensive. It’s very good quality and has a very strong smell. I love the way it smells even before I make a cup! I got the French roast. I have not tried the other flavors and I honestly probably won’t try them because French roast is what I like I have been using a cheaper brand for a while with no complaints, but this coffee is much better. I enjoy drinking it in the morning and even want to brew another cup even though I have already had enough caffeine. I drink my coffee black with no sugar, just French roast with nothing in it. If you are a person that likes to use milk, cream, etc, so I like a nice strong / bolt flavor. This is a really good French roast, but better than the cheaper coffee that I have been drinking. The size and shape is a little different than a normal K-cup but it works just fine in my coffee maker. It seems like they use less plastic which is good. The bottom of the cup is the filter and it isn’t sealed. That’s probably why they are sealed in a coffee bag. I will probably be buying these again even though they are more expensive than a basic k-cup
I’ve tried every organic coffee pod sold at Walmart, but I always look forward to finding new ones. First off I love that these come in compostable pods. They work just like the others but no plastic. I also love that they come in a sealed bag so every time you open it you're greeted by the aroma of grounds. Best of all it tastes great! I sweeten mine pretty heavily but I can still taste the bold flavor of the coffee. I’d recommend these, I’m ordering more before I run out.
Beaniac coffee arrives in a box similar to what K-cups normally come in, but when you open it up, you’ll find two sealed bags with one way air vents much like what fresh ground coffee is packed in to preserve flavor. Open one up and the overwhelming coffee aroma is amazing. The pods are not made of metal like regular K-cups. These have a rim that just looks like plastic but is actually created from coffee chaff, a paper label and the rest of the pod is mesh similar to coffee filters so they are compostable. It’s nice to be able to see what’s actually inside a pod before it goes into your machine. They worked in my Keurig without a problem. I like strong coffee so I picked French Roast assuming it would be up there in strength. It’s not as strong as I’m used to, but close enough for me to enjoy it. It has a slightly woody aftertaste that I wasn’t sure about at first, but now I’m addicted to. Expiration date is nine months out so no issues with freshness. And the beans are USDA organic if that matters to you. The only drawback is the price which is almost a dollar a cup currently. It might be nice as a treat. I’d have difficulty justifying the cost on a daily basis.
I did not like this coffee; possibly because l am too attached to one brand. I have been drinking the same brand of coffee for 40 years. I only changed the way the coffee was made over the years, from percolator coffee pot, to automatic coffee maker, to coffee K cups or pods. I do feel bad about all the plastic K cups we contribute to the land fill. And I worry about pesticides and other chemicals that may be in our coffee. So, I was excited to try these Organic, Full On French Roast (Dark Roast) Single Serve, Coffee K Cup Pods from the company beaniac. I was happy to discover that beaniac makes French Roast or Dark Roast, which is my preferred flavor and strength. I like that the coffee is organic, free of unsafe chemicals. I really like that the coffee pods are made from plant-based materials, are compostable, and are Rainforest Alliance Certified. The coffee pods are compatible with my coffee maker. Unfortunately, I do not like the taste at all. Right out of the box, the coffee pods had an odd smell and the smell persisted throughout the brewing process. The coffee looked like it would be a deep, full bodied flavor (I drink black coffee, no cream or sugar). I just really really didn’t like the taste and flavor. People just need to try it for themselves.
