Fans of the big purple dinosaur Barney should greatly enjoy this very good disc from Lyric. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. The extensive supplemental materials include an electronic read-along book, 15 songs in both English and Spanish, interactive games, a Mother Goose rhyme booklet, behind-the-scenes footage, previews of Barney videos, and a section for parents that will help explain the education component of the DVD. This is a great disc for parents and young children.

One of my favorite tv series. The halloween episode in season 4 is priceless.
