I heard my granddaughter saying" have a bad day". I asked her why, she said, that's what barbie says. I too thought at first it said that. knowing it couldn't be saying that, I listening to it about 5 times before I realized it had to be saying, fab. she loves her barbie travel set. I gave this 5 stars but do think next time maybe wording should be changed or spoken more clearly.
"Have a FAB day" not "Bad day" lol my daughter loves this.
I came here to leave a review on this product and read any other reviews that were left... I have to say that I agree with both reviews. Upon listening to the recording the first two times, it most definitely sounds like she is saying "have a bad day"... but when you REALLY listen to it, with the phone right next to your ear, not an arms length away, she IS saying "have a Fab day". You could just make sure your child is told what it says...Fab NOT bad...but, should you have to? I called the manufacturer and was told others complained about the same thing, so I know its not just how I am hearing it. Really should just say the word "fabulous" in full.
We got this for my Daughter and the cell says "have a bad day". She has been so offended by it. We as parents do not want this for our child. I feel so offended. I feel like calling them ASAP. To the trash!!
If i could give it no stars i would. Do not buy this set the phone says"have a bad day" I bought this for my daughter and she came running to me an said "mommy my phone said have a bad day" she was very upset because she knew that isn't something we say to people. I have listened to it many times in hopes that's not what it was saying unfortunately it was.
