Very Affordable Black soap is a real find for people suffering from skin problems. I've been using it for a few months now and can attest to its excellent acne-fighting effect. The first thing that catches your eye is its amazing smell. The soap is very pleasant and unobtrusive! The size of the soap is also pleasantly surprising: it is large enough to be used for a long time without the need to buy a new one, it is especially economical when used on the face. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several other products from this line that I really enjoy and use often. I was optimistic about liking his soap, too, and was not let down! I've been keeping it in my shower this summer and feel like it keeps my body clear and removes build up from sunscreen, chlorine, etc. It has helped to keep my skin clear from the little acne bumps I tend to get in the summer but is not drying. It has a light fresh scent, very gender neutral. I use it on my face too while showering and my face is left smooth and clean. This is a great soap to add to your routine!
I absolutely love this soap. I use it a lot on my body and it doesn't make my body break out.. The only downside to the soap is it's black, so it will leave behind black marks wherever it's placed. Besides that, I totally recommend this soap!
This product is almost suitable for all skin types, especially oily skin. If your body skin is dry, you should use moisturizer after bathing. It treats facial acne very well, so I introduced it to my teenage niece and it really works. When I travel, my skin gets irritated and itchy, so I can't use anything else but this product. Currently, I am still using it every day for sensitive skin areas such as armpits and acne on my buttocks.
This soap smells excellent and doesn't strip my skin. It is heavy and of a good quality. It also one of the only soaps I can buy from the store without having to buy. Although lately my local Walmart has not kept it in stock so I have resorted to buying it on their website. I would highly recommend this soap to anyone.
I got the Shea Moisture green bar soap with avocado and green tea. It has brown spots on it. Is that normal and acceptable? Or is that dangerous and moldy? Please advise. it's brand new out of the wrapper. And this is my first time using it. So I don't really know what they look like normally. but I will say this, it's extremely perfumey. I do not like that. Chill out with the perfume please.
I've been a loyal user of SheaMoisture bar soaps for years and have always been impressed with their quality. However, my recent experience with the Coconut and Hibiscus soap left me disappointed. The bar is cracking all over and falling apart, which came as a surprise given my previous positive experiences. Despite the issues with its durability, the soap itself seems to be effective and performs well. Nonetheless, the unexpected deterioration of the bar's quality is concerning, especially considering that I only opened the bar soap two weeks ago.
Why did you change the formula on this perfect, amazing bar of soap? I received 5 bars today of the "new" stuff and I am so disappointed. The new stuff has twice as many ingredients, less organic ingredients, and added fragrance. It smells and feels different! Why did you do this? The old stuff smelled amazing and had better ingredients. Cocoa seed butter, shea butter, and mango butter were the first 3 ingredients in the original formula. In this new formulation, the first 3 ingredients are “sodium palmate, sodium palm kernelate, and WATER.” Not right, Shea Moisture. Bring the old formula back!
Product: Shea Moisture Three Butters Utility Soap Cleansing Bar - New Formulation (new packaging) Shea Moisture unnecessarily reformulated an already perfect product! Unacceptable! Clearly Shea Moisture does not care about their customers by insulting our intelligence. Did they not think we could feel, smell, and read the differences in the new formulation of the Three Butters Utility Soap Cleansing Bar (new packaging)? This new formulation is cheap, non-moisturizing, and does not smell as nice as the original but is sold for the same premium price. Shea Moisture is more concerned about their profit margins than customer satisfaction. This product is a disgrace to the founder, Sofi Tucker. This new formulation is not worth the premium price and is no substitution for the original. The original formulation was the greatest soap for men I have ever come across. I use it to cleanse and moisturize my body and hair, plus, I shave with it. It is a great 3 in 1 solution. I still have original formulation bars for side-by-side comparisons. In the new formula, the first two ingredients, Sodium Palmate and Sodium Palm Kernelate are common to most soaps, nothing special here.
