My son loved this flavor-the fact that it had a hint of citrus and berry without having to water it down like I do other brands because they are too overly sweet. Just enough flavor and very thirst quenching.. I really wish WalMart would bring this back. Also liked the larger size packs that make 2 quarts instead of the 16 oz packets since we make pitchers to put in the fridge..
I've been looking for Stevia sweetened powdered drink mixes for quite some time. I finally found this and the lemonade produced by WalMart's Great Value brand. What I like is that it doesn't combine the stevia with sugar or any artificial sweeteners. Some of the flavors by other companies which are for individual water bottles are often too strong. I really like this subtle flavor added to water which gives it enough flavor to enjoy without overwhelming me with fruit. I've found it to be far more thirst quenching than other choices, especially diet sodas.
I drink this every day but now I can't find it. it is no longer sold, and I don't understand why. please bring it back!!
Some have said this has no flavor, but I love the flavor. It isn't overly sweet, which I like. It is sweetened with stevia and cane sugar and has no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial sweeteners. It kind of reminds me of Sobe lifewater. I also prefer the natural color, it is the color of coconut water. Each packet makes 2 quarts so this is much cheaper than most sodas or juice drinks and so much better for you.
Excellent taste right amount of sweet and fruity.
I drink this with my water everyday. The Strawberry Citrus Punch is my favorite but I'm sad to hear that it is no longer available. That is the one thing I do not like about shopping at Wal-Marts, they are not very good at supporting food for Diabetics,
No coloring. No it won't stain teeth, clothing, carpet, dental work especially. Sugar is added to counterbalance the taste of the stevia, which some people don't appreciate. I knocked off a star because of the addition of sugar. Other than that, this is good for flavoring water. But it's not going to taste like Kool Aide or even aspartame-laden drink mixes.
I honestly think this was a flavor mistake that they decided to try marketing anyway. There is the barest hint of strawberry flavor with something that might be grapefruit? It is "drinkable", but pretty lame. Then there are only 4 packets instead of the usual 6. This was a BIG disappointment.
No artificial stuff... good for some people. No color, no fragrance , but no taste, either. Color is important to some but not to me. There is no hint of strawberry to me; there is a citrus taste. Sweetness is moderate. There are only 4 packs in the container (other drinks in the series have 6 packs [ except orange ]) for the same price. Left a glass out over night. Next morning, it was tasteless. I did notice that stuff had accumulated at the bottom of the glass, so I stirred it and the taste came back. This may be a good drink for persons who are keen on "no artificial ingredients." I would not, however, recommend to any one that's just looking for a new flavor.
I purchased this primarily for the new flavor - our household has bought Great Value Drink Mix for years and we like to try the new flavors. I did not realize until I got ready to make it that it was touting Stevia as a sweetener and it had "no artificial sweeteners flavors or colors". All true. However no artificial color means no color other that a slightly dirty water looking drink that contains some sediment. Yes it has Stevia, but the first ingredient in this is cane sugar and that is the primary ingredient you taste. There is a taste of some flavoring other than the sugar but it is very weak - about half of the flavor intensity of most other flavors. Also, this package only contains 4 packets where most of the other flavors contain 6. We will continue to drink Great Value Drink Mix but this one misses the mark on too many counts to purchase it again.
