First time using this brand. I thought that because it was instant all I had to do was add water. If also required baking power. I stilled used it without. My tamales were delicious.
Love how my tamales taste. I've tried other brands but this one is my favorite
Maseca for tamales is excellent product,I recommend.
love making tortillas - tamales- fried gorditas or chalupas (same thing, I think) we are Vegan so this is a GO TO STAPLE . We use up a this 4.4 bag in 2 weeks a little goes a long way. We are vegan and into healthy nutrition perfect if you are trying to eating healthy. (just be mindful in the friying- pad dry the oil with a paper towel)
Quick and easy tamales A tad too sweet but with spicy pork they were ok
I like the product I used it before but I wouldn't order it online again, the product container (kind of a paper container) was broken inside the box.
dough for tamales has an expiration date of May 18, 2022 and today is September 6, 2022. that dough for tamales no longer works, I send it with the expiration date
There was mold growing out of the bag.. you can SEE the MOLD GROWING OUT OF THE BAG. Once again Walmart pick up staff gives it's customers' the worst quality products. If there was mold when I opened the bag it would be another story, however, there is mold on the bottom, the back, and the sides on the outside of the package.
I am so used to your old website. Not a fan of this one. Never got a confirmation of order so i went into store and bought 64 bags off Maseca, which your web said was out of stock! Really like this store....just started going here. So clean and so helpful. This Maseca that I bought is on behelf of St. Vincent de Paul Society. It will be distributed to Migrant camp workers on Saturday.
I received my order on 11/8/22. The ‘sell by date' was September 30, 2022. They appeared fine. And I didn't want to deal with the return process so I kept them. I knew I would use them within a couple of days. I took them out of my pantry on 11/11 to use it and the bags were infested with bugs. My pantry now is also infested. I had to throw the bags out and other items in my pantry. A total waste of time and money. The pictures don't tell the whole story because I wanted to clean up as quickly as possible. HORRIBLE SELLER!
