I bought this concealer brush when I was on the hunt for a good concealer brush a few years ago when I was just a beginner. This is the best concealer brush. It fits perfectly under the eye, and blends like a dream. I set my undereye with this brush every day, and even got my mom hooked on it! It's extremely affordable too, which is always nice.
I use it for highlight, targeted blush and contour, setting my eyeshadow primer, concealer, setting concealer, and sometimes for light coverage, to apply my foundation. If you're think about getting it, just do it, it's so worth it. The bristles are so soft and have yet to shed!
Yes, you do need two different concealer brushes. The small Essentials concealer brush is great for "spot" concealing (pimples, small scars, etc.) while THIS is the brush you need to apply and blend concealer to larger areas, such as under the eyes. This brush allows you to blend your concealer perfectly into your foundation, leaving no line of demarcation. It also works well for applying and blending liquid highlighters on the top of the cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, etc. I ordered one brush, just to give it a try, but love it so much I'll be ordering a couple more once they're back in stock.
One word...fabulous. This is a must have for the over forty crowd with wrinkles and fine lines around and under your eyes. I am able to apply liquid and cream concealer with a flawless finish. Stiff concealer brushes hurt, this one doesn't, Also, the coverage and finish is fabulous...
Just got this and I've fallen in love with it! It works fabulously with the satin finish concealer and is great for blending. The brush cleans easy and works well for powders and liquid foundations alike. I would 100% recommend!!
I got this brush in a kit. I loved it so much. I bought another one. I use it for my concealer but also works well in blending eyeshadow into crease. I love this brush and highly recommend.
I like this brush it is very nice. It does the job. I have not washed it yet but ELF seems like a good brand. The lip primer and plumber is the only thing I have gotten from ELF that I dislike.
I genreally use a sponge to blend my liquid/cream concealer so I use this to apply powder to set my undereye. This brush is a decent shape and size for this. I prefer ELF's small tapered brush for thi, but this one works well when the other is being cleaned. Washes well with no shedding. The ferrule and handle came apart on mine, but a little glue and it was like new again.
Okay so- I am not a makeup artist by any means and I don't have a million brushes or have a ton of knowledge, BUT I do wear concealer or a brightening cream around my undereye and cheek bone religiously and I know smaller thicker brushes or small pointed sponges work the best for blending that under eye area. This brush is called the "flawless concealer brush" and the photos make it look small and thick/stubby as well. I was excited to get this. It did not blend very well and the bristles were so much longer and thinner than I expected. I will probably use it as a powder brush after this.... the bristles are just too lose and thin to work well blending a thick concealer. =( it will work well for dusting powders. Like a translucent finishing powder or a light blush. But definitely not a blending brush. Too flimsy to work for blending.
i really wanted to like this brush after hearing good reviews from my favorite beauty youtubers but upon trying it out i felt it did not go over smoothly on my concealer. the bristles are kind of stiff and not that soft. maybe for eyeshadow i will try it out.
