I absolutely love this cage perfect size for my Quaker and he loves it also. Perfect size for my house and i love the seed catcher at the bottom. My bird loved the bungie rope it came with. Great price on the cage. Not to bad to put together.
Product arrived on time. Came with everything and gave us extra screws just in case. Cage is beautiful!!! Took about 45 mins to an hour to assemble. Picture is progress and partial assemble. End product looks just like the picture. This is for my indian ringneck parrot.
Perfect size for a pair of lovebirds, and the bars are close enough together so that Houdini (my male escape artist) is unable to escape. Clean up is easy with the drawer and bottom rack that slides out. I still keep paper on the bottom. Directions to put this together could be a bit better as I am a first time bird owner and put one piece on upside down, and didn't realize until the next day when I didn't like the way the food doors closed. I had to take it apart to fix it. Love the cage and so do the birds
This bird cage is such a great value! It's less than 1/2 the price of other manufacturers, and the quality is awesome! It's pretty easy to put together, although, it would be better if you had 2 people, so someone could help with holding. We have 2 Gold Capped Conures in 2 cages that are almost identical to this one, but they were more than double the price. My husband recently rescued a cockatiel, and we wanted it to have a cage like our conures have. I'm really glad we did some research and found this one. We got the white one and we am very happy with it, and so is our cockatiel, Sweet Pea!
This cage is great for our 2 cockatiels. It went together fast, NO prob with holes lining up, tho I have experienced those situations before with other items. It looks good, and is sturdy. We roll it outside on the patio for birds to take a bath in the sun, and the cage with the skirting fit thru our standard doors. Which is a good thing because the metal skirting is screwed together at the corners, so you would not be able to remove it or lift it straight up and off, without taking the corner screws out, which would not be convenient. Shipping was fast.
I got it for a cockatiel I'm getting soon. It's spacious and then has the playpen on top. It will be perfect for my baby when I get him. I also liked all the areas that pull out so you can clean then including the cage bottom that separates the birds from the bottom of the cage. It will be invaluable when it comes time to clean up his cage. I like it very much.
I ordered as an alternative cage for my Amazon parrot. It's original cage is huge and I cannot get it through the door to have him hang out in the backyard only the mini front yard. Now he can hang out with us with this cage. He's also loving the top playground when I have him hanging out. This new cage is a treat for my parrot.
We ordered this cage, for our 14y old daughter's new cockatiel, based on its size and durability. Since we also have three cats, we needed something not top-heavy, that would withstand being pulled on, or roll - which it does. It only took my husband 20mins to assemble, the bird has plenty of room to move, it fits great in our small space, the cats can't move the cage or get to the bird (though not for lack of trying!) Fortunately, WalMart had it in sale for $109, half the regular price and what the local pet stores were asking for the same cage. So it was definitely worth the price!
This cage is really a great cage and my bird loves it. It's a nice size cage that doesn't take up a lot of space but still offers plenty of room for my bird. We really love the play top! Putting the cage together was a complete assembly nightmare! The directions are no help at all and a lot of the holes weren't drilled all the way through which made putting the screws in extremely difficult. I'm a small woman and still managed to put it together with minimal help from my teenage daughter. All of the frustration of putting the cage together was definitely worth it in my opinion though cause it really is a nice cage when it's all said and done.
Cage came with only 4 bowls and not the 5 in the specs. Also, the holders for the top perch were missing so the bowls cannot be used on the top. Looks like the wrong piece was sent in the package. Other than this the cage will do the job for small birds.
