Love the feeling of this one! It's not sticky or too shiny and I find that it lasts well throughout the day. I've gotten it in multiple colors!
Blondie Pink is my absolute favorite color of the crushed lip color collection. It is the perfect pink, not too pink; not too nude, not too dark, not too light. I buy a bunch in bulk. I also like Blue Raspberry and Lilac. I wish they would bring back some of the reds they used to have. I will have to try Ruby. I have been searching for "my" red lip color forever. Bobbi Brown....NEVER discontinue this line or these colors. They are creamy, hydrating, long lasting, not thick and gloppy. Just right! Every color I try, I love.
My Go-To lipstick to wear during the day. I'm in love with the balmy texture when applying this lipstick. I get very dry lips and so this helps to hydrate and keep my lips moisturized throughout the day without it settling into the cracks or flakes, but not only does it keep my lips soft and smooth it adds a beautiful flush of colour that mimics my natural lip colour with just one swipe. And whats even more Amazing is that when you apply a few more layers you can build the pigment to a bolder lip colour, which is more my style , the Bolder the Better ;) On top of it all the pigment from the lipstick stains your lip so you don't have to worry about reapplying after your coffee breaks because of the colour-stay.
This product is actually the only lip color I'll use anymore. I layer a small amount of clear or pale gloss on my bare lip to add moisture, and the lip color goes over it. Lilac and Grenadine are my staples, but I have several colors. A fully matte lip is more of a statement than I want to make and is too drying. This is a very soft matte finish and it's very sexy. As I've gotten older I'm appreciating the fact that the more natural the finish, the better. And actually, this product is amazing on any age, it's just what lip color should be.
I love the variety of looks I can achieve with the Crushed lip color. Its finish allows flexibility with layering, whether it be with lipliner or mixing with another lipstick OR putting a dab of gloss on top. I can go from a soft, sunkissed amount of color on the lips to full coverage bold lip. Not too glossy and not too matte. It is just right.
The introduction of the Nudes collection to the Crushed Lip Color is next level on wearability. I am pleasantly surprised to find that the shade Blue Raspberry works well with my skin tone. For context, I wear BB concealer shade Sand and undereye corrector in Light Peach. The Blue Raspberry shade has a true raspberry shade with the slightest tinge of cool blue. Contrasts nicely with warm tones. Most importantly, this lip color is moisturizing and comfortable to wear. Thank You, Bobbi Brown
Cali Rose is the shade I chose. I have light olive skin. One swipe leaves a beautiful cool tone rose stain. For more impact, two swipes results in a very rich color. It feels like a balm. Great lipstick for when you just want a hint of color or to make a statement. Very versatile.
It's a pretty, muted, and wearable red color. Even upon first swipe it has a very wearable look to it, almost as if it has already been blended (which is exactly what I wanted). I do have to go back in with my finger and soften the outside edges, but that is personal preference. Although the color is quite nice, it does fade and wear off very easily. Additionally, I find this comfortable to wear over lip balm but a bit drying on bare lips. A bit of a scent which fades quickly
I love the colors in this range. Even the deeper colors look fresh and very wearable upon application. But, a few sips of water later, and this starts to wear off. Plus it wears off in patches! Just looks awful. I returned these to the store of purchase and reverted to wearing the priginal BB Lip Color and the Luxe. Both very good.
Ordered Buff which described to be a cool, blue undertone. Disappointing color as this shifts warm/orange. But feel and finish and weight is very good.
