I have never owned a robot vacuum cleaner before this. WOW! this little thing sure does vacuum up everything. It's very strong and doesn't miss a spot. The mop part cleans okay. It's not very loud either. I put mine to work at night when we sleep. Definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This version of Roomba iRobot is a great upgrade from the previous version we had. I love that it has the ability to map the house, and it only took about an hour and forty five minutes to finish doing the whole thing. It's nice because we can have it vacuum one end of the house at night while we're sleeping so that it's clean the next morning, and then the next day we can have it vacuum the master bedroom section of the house. The fact that it also mops just amazes me, and it really does a good job. I'm impressed with how easy it is to setup and use. It's very convenient that it automatically empties the bin while vacuuming, because in the past with a different one I'd forget to empty it which would stop the cleaning. I also really like that if the Roomba starts to get low on battery while it's in the middle of a scheduled cleaning, it will go back home and dock for a little bit to recharge the battery and then continue it's cleaning. The bags that hold the waste are large and last a long time between changing them. This unit is also quieter than our last one. I work from home, and am able to let the Roomba run while working and it doesn't disturb me. The quality and workmanship is fantastic, and I can see this product holding up through a lot of wear and tear. I would fully recommend!

This vacuum is the best!!!! I've always dreaded sweeping the floors and now I don't have to even lift a finger! I downloaded the roomba app and set it to sweep at certain times and which rooms to sweep. It even has a mop that I absolutely love because mopping the floors is the worst! I highly recommend this vacuum! Just set your app and your good to go!
This product is a great vacuum. It picks up pet hair and other debris really well. It is not too loud. The mop function is just ok in comparison. If you don't mop that often and want a robot vacuum, this would be a good choice. Definitely avoid if proper mopping is your priority. I also didn't love the app, as it was quite buggy initially and took a long time to set up. This product only works with the app, so be mindful of that if you are interested in something with manual controls.

As someone who has limited free time between work, two kids, three dogs, and a husband, I appreciate products that can help minimize the time I spend doing daily "maintenance" cleaning, so that I can focus on other things. I would like to provide my personal Pros and Cons list for this product: Pros: 1. Nicely packaged. Instructions were easily accessible and packaged in a neat modular packaging system, with accessories grouped together and clearly labeled. 2. Easy setup. The app was easy to download, the QR code on the setup paperwork linked quickly, and it easily connected to our WiFi. 3. Clever storage for cord. 4. Higher-end appearance aesthetics ranging from the quality/thick cord to the look of the robot vacuum and bin itself. 5. Gripper on bottom for secure placement on floor. 6. A spare filter is included in the box. 7. Bristle-free rollers are great for our household. Between two females with long hair, and one long-haired dog who sheds frequently, I am always having to clean out the rollers in my other vacuums. Even after 2 weeks of using, I did not have the issue with this. 8. Vacuum had good suction. 9. Bagged dust bin. Cons: 1. Louder compared to another robot vacuum that I own. 2. Mop functionality subpar at best. It did not provide adequate coverage. Effectiveness of mop not at same level as vacuum. 3. Although connecting to the app was easy, mapping our house was not. My husband and I both tried multiple times (I have Apple, he has Android) and the mapping did not work well. App is quirky. 4. Vacuum had issues when it encountered our rugs and did not always want to go on the rug to clean. Overall: If you are looking for a true vacuum and mop combo, I would not recommend this product. However, if you will primarily use it for a vacuum only, and do not mind a little bit of noise, it performs decently.
Love the IRobot, it cleans extremely well, stays in line and cleans the entire floor area. The only thing that I was a little disappointed was the moping bin, after completing the job, if the reserve bin has cleaning solution, it will create a poddle at the charging station. If you pull it, it will drip everywhere. Other than that it is a great vacuum with a very modest price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum/mop combo vacuum is great for light cleaning. It's fairly quiet compared to other robots I've used and the suction is sufficient for hard surfaces, but just ok for carpets and thick rugs. The mopping feature is also decent for light mopping , but does leave some streaks. My roomba had a difficult time mapping my entire house - took a few runs for it to discover all spaces (ex: it didn't go to the left side of my bed for the first 3 runs so it didn't show on my map). I run the robot daily to suck up small debris (cat litter, grass tracked in my dogs, post-cooking in the kitchen, but definitely have to use a more powerful vacuum for rugs/carpets and corners. If you're looking for maintenance in between deep cleanings, this will work fine but don't expect it to do the thorough cleaning for you.
I don't know what algorithm it's using, but it seems remarkably inefficient. It goes over the same spots many times, goes off randomly to a completely different area, and does a small spot over and over, then sets off again. Eventually it covers everywhere (I think) but takes hours to complete one large room. In comparison my sister has a Samsung robot vacuum cleaner, and it is so logical, and quick
I could not get the robot to map the whole floor of the house. Each time it would run out of battery (without returning to home base to charge) and have to be rescued and then I'd have to start over. It seemed to go over and over the same spots and use up the battery pointlessly. I tried three times and then finally just closed off doors to most of the house so it would do one highly trafficked area. So, that's all I can get it to do. My old Deebot Ozmo did a way better job, but died after only 2 years, so I was hoping this would be more reliable. Maybe it will be, but it's also not as useful.
