The material is soft and there is nothing that will come off and have me worried if he will swallow it. I liked that it is a brown body because it will hide slobber and dirt from being dragged around. The door pillow is cute and thick but it mostly finds a way to be knocked to the ground than staying on the handle.

It's soft and cuddly and most of all machine washable. We hung the pillow on our front door knob since all the kids wanted it on their door easy problem solved. Everything is very well made and the value speaks for itself.
