The oil is difficult to source as very few people grow it and over 750 pounds of little yellow flowers are required to make each pound of absolute. The amber-colored oil is viscous, yet pourable, so we offer it in an open-neck bottle with a wand cap. Osmanthus is used to scent tea and pastries in China and to obtain a "peach flavor" by the food industry. It is used in amber, musk and floral bases, Orientals, and tea perfumes. Blends well with woods, florals, citrus, herbs and green notes.
