After alot of research, I tried this product b/c it's calcium & magnesium are derived from amino acid chelates, and they are in the correct ratios. It is also the only formula I could find which also contains K2 and D3, both of which work SYNERGISTICALLY with the minerals for bone health and to support a large variety of other functions. This product helps my digestion tremendously, but I did not even buy it for that reason. If the tabs are too large, I rec. chewing or cutting them in half. Excellent product I cannot live without.
I looked and looked for the perfect Calcium, magnesium, vitamin D3 & K. And this one just fit the ticket. The only negative is the are larger than a regular calcium pill. But that doesn't bother me as long as they have in them all that I need to take. I'm very happy with them. Thanks
After reading through the other reviews, I felt compelled to write a review in defense of Nature Plus. I think it is an excellent product and an excellent value. Sure it is difficult to take four at once, but why would you want to anyway? Why not take two twice a day to give yourself a chance to absorb all of the nutrients and to spread out the benefit over the course of several hours. I love the product and think it is well conceived. I am disappointed that some reviewers are turned off on the product because of inconvenience. The calcium and magnesium daily requirements are huge and necessitates huge pills.
I really don't know what these other people are talking about, seriously... These are large, quarter size but you put them in your mouth and they are easy to chew and melt. If they are a little dry drink some water. I find this better then swallowing pills. The two different flavors are both great tasting.
my biggest problem with these is the size of the tablet. It is so hard to swallow one, let alone the 4 required per serving. I do like the fact that all the ingredients are in one tablet, but I will be returning them as they gag me.
These vitamins are so big and dry that swallowing them is a challenge. Usually I can swallow three or four vitamins at one time, not with this tablet! If you have any issues with swallowing vitamins do not purchase this product. In my enthusiasm I purchased two bottles of 180 and now wonder if I will ever work my way through the bottles.
This could be a great product ,but the large size of the pill scares me every time I take It ! Take this one by itself with a large amount of fluid. Won't order again.
The tablet was too large to swallow and it scratched my throat. Tried to cut it in half but was sharp and hard and still scratched my throat. Had to throw most of the bottle away.
These are giant! As another reviewer stated, I usually throw a handfull of supplements in my mouth and they go down no problem. These I have to take one at a time, sometimes with two mouthfulls of water (and the serving is 4 tablets) will not buy again.
I had the same experience as the other reviewer, and even when I used a pill pulverizer and mixed it in water, it doesn't dissolve well, so I wonder if it even gets absorbed in the body. I have written Nature's Plus to suggest they go to liquid base and smaller size, and I will call Swanson's to ask for a refund, credit, or exchange. This is the first time I have ever had any problem with any Swansons's product, and they are the firs place I check when I want to order something!! SheilaK
