I love and try to buy all of Denise Austin tapes, It's medium stress on bones which is needed for my fx rt hip due to arthritis .It's the best therapy and doesn't leave my hip ace.
Denise Austin's Personal Training System DVD. This really is low impact cardio as advertized which is truly appreciated by one on a slim budget. The toning sessions are also for beginners. I love that I can separate the low intensity sessions from the intermediate and high intensity sessions so I don't have to while exercising. I like her training methods and find her knowledge credible bevause of her formal education. In all fairness, I had expected more information regarding "How To" designing my own system. But I knew I couldn't go wrong with one of her videos other than working out at too high of a cardio intensity level for my present health condition. Thankfully I have experience with toning that down on my own with some of her other videos. I wish it was easier to find some of her older videos. Even then she was doing floor work very similar to Pilates exercises.
I use this DVD every day. I love the versatility that the custom option offers.
I enjoy this dvd. I love getting to choose MY level of intensity and what exercises to do. I get the motivation and reminders about my posture and back position exactly when I need it. I feel great after I have done my routine. Great start to my day. I have used it for about a week or so and I have noticed a great amount of tightening happening. A HUGE amount in all areas. I like Denise, some don't, I do. Easy to follow. Don't need fancy weights, I use 24oz cans of pasta sauce. I would recommend though a yoga mat if you have carpet like I do or your feet will slide during some of the exercises. Other than that, I have no problems with this dvd.
This video is really great. I did everything on the high intensity before I was pregnant and got a great workout and I love now that I am 8 months pregnant I can still use this DVD by picking the "low" workouts!
I love that this DVD workout can be customized! You can choose areas of the body and then choose your intensity. I have 3 kids under age 5 and sometimes I only have time for a short workout-this is my go to in that situation!
I already had this video since I was like 25 . ! I am 30 now and just had my second baby . I pulled the workout video out and dusted it off , and I still love this video . ! You can customize to your own liking . ! No special equipment needed , just a pair of weights . My first child scratched my video , so I looked and looked , only Walmart carried this video . ! Walmart saved me . ! I got compliments after I started doing this video people could tell . ! BUY THIS VIDEO IT WORKS . !
What better way to get in shape. WOW! Denise really nailed it on this one. I love how you can set up your own workout by choosing which part of your body you want to work out and to what extent (ex. low, medium, high) And each segment is 10 minutes, except cardio. (that ones a little tough to follow but very beneficial) I highly recommend this to anyone who hates going to the gym or cannot leave on account of their precious little ones.
So far I like it. I like customizing my own workouts. It is an older one, but still good.
