Prime USA Scales offers our heavy duty 48" x 48" 10,000 lb Capacity floor scale. Designed, Constructed, Manufactured, and Calibrated in Ontario, California 91761. We are happy to offer the best quality floor scales to our customers. Our USA made scales offer a 1/4" thick diamond plated steel with six channel steel bracing. Most competitors and imported scales use only a 1/5" thick steel or even less an 1/8" thick. Causing the steel deck to warp and not weigh accurately. This means those imported scales will only last 1 to 2 years max before being replaced. Meaning life expectancy for our USA made scales is 5-10 years down the road.Most imported floor scales have a shipping weight of 150 lb to 200 lb. They are using as little steel as possible. Not to mention it's a mild steel. Our USA made scales are built with 300-500 lb of steel (depending on the size). This extra steel protect against impacts, vibrations, forklifts bumps, and other warehouse abuse. All four load cells are designed with a 200% overload protection to hold it's calibration for a long period of time. Lift the scale base on it's side. Install the four leveling feet half way into the load cell. Set the scale base back on the four leveling feet. Next, find the steel braided load cell cables and digital indicator. Plug the cable into the scale base and the other end into the digital indicator. Keep in mind the scale is pre-calibrated. Turn on the indicator and you are ready to weigh.Warranty:Prime USA Scales offers a 5 Year Manufacture Warranty on the base of the scale and 2 Year warranty on the electronics.
