I love this Essie stronger base coat. I use it under colored polish and by itself. I especially make sure to use it after I take off acrylic nails or gel polish if I do not plan to reapply. It really works at strengthening my nails and gets them back to normal quickly!
My aging (!) nails were getting thinner, weaker and brittle. I use TWO coats of “Grow Stronger” and the first color coat. Any color you like. The After thoroughly dry, I add the second color coat, and Gel,Couture top coat. I have not had a chip in over 2 years. I think it must bond to the nail, because when I have NO polish on, my nails feel stronger and no longer “crack” at the sided. My manicures last 3+ weeks...or until, ya know, they've grown in too much to look good. I have my mom doing the same routine. At 91, her nails rock, and she is hard on her hands,
I have been buying and using this bade coat for almost three years now, and I love it!
This is the best! very subtle color, so easy to applya nd wear everydayeven when no time for a mani. Makes nails stronger and no peeling! Why is it so hard to find though? Have you stopped making it? If so, why or WHY?!?
I really like this! I ended up using the whole thing, wearing it with and without nail polish over it. It dries quickly and really strengthens up my nails, plus nail polish goes smoothly over it. Sometimes there's a bump or two but it gets covered up completely with nail polish so it isn't a big issue. A bit pricey but worth it.
This is what I use after a gel manicure to strengthen my nails again. It gives a really light tint and shine. It really does make my nails look and feel stronger
i got this after having dip nails on for nearly a year. I wanted my nails to regain strength. This was good but didn't seem to make my nails grow quickly. They were severely damaged though so that is also probably why. But overall it is a good product.
This nail polish help my nails grow. It was definitely used as a base coat then I used a regular color nail polish, then use it again and then I a topcoat. It has helped my nails so much, help them grow and help them stay strong, my nails rarely break now.
It's a good base coat, however I haven't actually noticed a difference in my nails when applying before polish. It's nice alone as well if you want to take a break from polish, I prefer to use it that way. Though I haven't noticed a difference in the health of my nails when applying before polish, it does make my polish last longer without chipping.
Unlike some of the other nail product from this brand, I wasn't a fan, it didn't give me the base I want it made my polish left and peel. Definitely wouldn't recommend or repurchase
