[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how instant pot chef series multi cooker 8 qt. It's has many cooking function. It is my new favorite kitchen product and has replaced a few of my other kitchen items since it does all the work with just this one pot. It's really easy to use and easy to clean. The lid and the inner pot are dishwasher safe so make my job more easier. Highly recommended for everyone who don't have lot space fie many pots and pans. Just one pot and we don't prepare many meals for our family.

First thing I noticed was that it comes in a very well packaged box for protection that could be used to store it safely if needed. Also, considering its size, it is pretty light to carry and just convenient to move around! Now - I love how simple it makes my life because of how many features it has!! We cook a lot. We meal prep, we host big dinners weekly, and this makes our lives so much easier. Worth the money!! Such a great gift.

I received this new updated version to try and I am in love with the new design, and sleek black color. They have found a way to make it slightly slimmer making it easier to store. The instant pot I had previously did not have a vent switch like this new addition, and it is a must have, I used to almost burn my fingers switching the vent to open . I would recommend an instant pot if you haven't used one before . It brings out the flavors of the food better and is so user friendly . I was initially intimidated by the instant pot and now I couldn't imagine not using one several times a week. I love all of the features such as a rice , slow cooker, bean/chili, egg, steam, sauté and yogurt setting it makes cooking a breeze. It is easy to set up for the 1st time and comes with an instruction book with cooking times, care instructions and a cook book. It's really nice to bring to potlucks, easy to travel with. Cleanup is so incredibly easy, the lid and inner pot are dishwasher safe. These is also a self shut off if it senses burning to the bottom of the pot. An instant pot makes a perfect gift for a college student. Someone who is going to be living on their own for the first time or anyone I would recommend an instant pot for everyone.

The pot itself is perfect but it was a gift and the box was destroyed. I unfortunately didn't have time to run out and get the item so I had it delivered. That was the issue make sure you tell them to consider the packaging and make sure the driver knows where to leave the item. We asked him to leave it inside our foyer because it was raining and he left it outside in the rain. Then there's the box it was all banged up to the point the inside protection was dented and cracked. There was a big rip in the side. Plus it was so tapped up you could tell it was a returned item that they resent. Then when I called the store about it item to see if they could hold another one so I could exchange it even though I didn't have time. The woman who answered didn't even ask my name or order number just said sorry that was the last one have a great day and hung up. I get it's the holidays and retail can be stressful but it was such a bad experience. This is why I use Amazon but Walmart was cheaper and I could have it when I needed it. What a let down.
I was delivered a used item. Box had no instructions and the insert is scratched from previous use.
This pot is the worse parts missing
I did Walmart pick up. I didn't notice the box was all damaged until I got home, but I don't mind that. As long as the content of the package is okay. Everything was half unwrapped, and moved around, again that's okay. However the valve cap is gone, super disappointed because I was going to make a meal right away with this. Sucks!
