I purchased mine in the store for a much lower price ($9.97) but I love it! It curls and straightens great. I use it to get where my instyler can't reach but this is a GREAT product!
I'm from England and usually use GHD's to straighten my hair but they don't work over here because of the voltage difference! So i looked on the Walmart website and was reading all of the product reviews trying to figure out which ones to buy. I didn't want to spend too much money because i'm only here for 4 months so i was looking at max $30. When i got to the store there wasn't a huge choice for cheap straighteners and i saw these for about $17. You need to wait about 40 secs for them to heat up properly and i put it on the highest heat setting because that always works best for me. They feel really plastic when you straighten your hair and it doesn't get the dead striaght effect i was after. The temperature needs to be much higher! it gets rid of the frizz and best of all they work great on my clip in extensions too! My hair is shoulder length so the straighteners are ok for that length but i also like to curl my hair with straighteners and the plates on these are too wide for that which is annoying. These are ok straighteners for the price but if you are looking for something of a high standard then steer clear!
I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT A FEW TIMES SINCE IT WAS PURCHASED, AND FOUND IT TO BE A GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE. IT HEATS VERY FAST AND CAN COVER A LARGE CHUNK OF HAIR AT A TIME.
Of all of the flat irons I've owned, these are my least favorite. They feel a bit flimsy in my grasp and it's not as easy as smaller ones to glide through smaller sections of hair. I've had them for nearly a month but I'm purchasing a different pair really soon.
