The brownies always come out perfect. Chocolately and fudgy just how I love them. Always have happy family members, friends and co-workers whenever I make these.
I don't normally buy brownie mix because I often find it inferior to making them from scratch but I was really surprised by this mix. It produces a nice moist brownie with a real chocolatey fudge flavour. It rivals the brand name mixes. A real winner.

This mix makes fantastic brownies. Among the best I have ever had - superior to all mixes (and at a fantastic price) and as good as my favourite store bought brownies but, again, at a fraction of the price. VERY simple to make. I add in some chopped pecans or other nuts to the batter, and frequently serve these heated for a few secs in the microwave and with frozen yoghurt or other additions (e.g., whipped cream, maraschino cherry, chocolate sauce) and they are a hit with everyone who tries them. I always either make two boxes if using a 9 x 13 pan, or use a smaller pan if just making one box, as I prefer the finished brownie to be thicker - it just requires adjusting the cooking time, and I add 15 or 20 mins (you may need a bit less or more as ovens vary) and when a sharp knife inserted comes out NEARLY clean (still a bit of wet mix on the knife) I turn the over off, open the door (great in the winter) and leave the pan in the oven for another 15 or 20 mins and let the residual heat finish the job. Then I remove the pan and just sit it on a wire rack (or anywhere not heated) to cool for another hour or so. Don't cover them with plastic until they are completely cooled, or you will get condensation buildup inside, and a not so pleasant result.

I have been buying this stuff for many years, long before it was in this style of box (when it was more the typical Great Value blue and white style box). I agree with the one longer review in here, that it is the best mix out there. It is better than the name brand ones and better than scratch. Whatever they did, they did it right and really nailed this recipe. There's a reason all the reviews are positive, because the price is good and the brownies don't last for more than a day around the house. They get made, they are gone within the day, they are that good. Please, never ever chage a thing about the recipe, you cannot make this better, it's brownie perfection.
