For decades I used this stuff, Sandoz brand, which I bought over-the-counter for $13 a hundred tabs. When everybody got upset about the other drug combined with clemastine fumarate in the brand Tavist-D, both drugs were taken off the market, and now the only way to get clemastine fumarate with a vet's prescription for a dog or cat. This is the ONLY antihistamine that works on me; as far as I can tell, it has no negative side effects. WHY IN THE ECK isn't it being sold anywhere for humans?
