I chose the Aveeno Positively Nourishing Purifying Body Wash for my 8 year old daughter. She breaks out easily because she is very sensitive to lotions and body washes. I wanted to see how her skin would react to this product, and I must give it an A+ because she has not broken out. It has been a week. I will have to add this to her list of products. The body wash comes in a beautiful bottle, easy to use. I've used it twice and it leaves my skin feeling revitalized and soft after I have showered. It states that it is the first purifying body wash to combine ingredients from the sea and Active Naturals Oat from the land. It has a unique combination of seaweed and oatmeal gently washes away impurities. I have no complaints and I will be purchasing more.
I love every Aveeno product and this Nourishing Body Wash doesn't disappoint. My skin is always dry at winter, and I forever struggled trying the other body washes without much success. Tried this Aveeno body wash and I am hooked. It does wonders for my skin, lathes very well, soothes and leaves it super smooth and moisturized. I absolutely love the way I feel after using this Aveeno Body Wash in a shower; I feel squeaky clean, refreshed and invigorated afterwards. Besides, it does not leave any residue and is not harsh on the skin, not at all. It smells wonderful, light and not overbearing, just right. This body wash was made with natural ingredients including nourishing oatmeal (Avena Sativa is listed as one of the ingredients). The ergonomically designed bottle is a little over 2 inches in diameter, is easy to hold on to especially while in the shower, and easy to use. If you want to use just a little of this body wash, tilt the dispenser, squeeze the bottle and here you go. Should you want more of it at once, unscrew the top and voila. Very versatile product. Bottom line, I am very happy to have discovered this body wash, will definitely buy more of it and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants a great body wash for the dry sensitive skin.

Not a bit oily. The body wash combines the ingredients from the sea with the Oat from the land. I love the fact that is all natural ingredients. I am still trying to figure out the smell, but it is wonderful. Not a sweet perfumed fragrance. It smells fresh and clean. I find myself looking forward to my shower, just so I can use this body wash. I highly recommend this product.
The Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Nourishing Purifying Body Wash is so lovely. The body wash 16 fluid ounces and has oatmeal with seaweed; with purification and nourishment for your skin. The bottle looks like a shampoo bottle. It also does not take up much room in the shower, or along your tub. It smells so good and makes lots of suds; I would recommend to a friend.
This body wash has a nice creamy texture and the scent being a little unusual is pleasent and mild. Leaves my skin soft which is a great help being the winter dryness. I use this on my pouf and it has lots of lather and easy rinse. Enjoy this much better than bar soap. A little goes a long way so sure this bottle will last a long time. Large 16 oz bottle. Dermatologist recommended.

My body is feeling all the nourishing and purifying ingredients in this body wash and it is made with seaweed and oatmeal. Aveeno Positively Nourishing Purifying Body Wash has a mild fragrant. Aveeno states that it is good for your skin and your senses. They also state that it is the first purifying body wash to combine ingredients from the sea (Seaweed) and land (Active Naturals Oats). Each shower leaves my body feeling rejuvenated and my skin feeling fresh & clean, soft & silky and smelling great, while awakening all my sensations. I love the relaxing way I feel while in the shower and after I get out. As lather encompasses my body I think of being in a field full of wonderful smelling flowers. Most of all I like how my skin feels each time I use Aveeno Purifying Body Wash. I recommend this product to everyone it is very beneficial for healthy skin because it washes away all the impurities and leaves your body moisturized. I was dealing with flakey, ashy looking winter skin until I started using this in my shower. What an improvement! Very lightly scented, I found that Aveeno body wash lathers rather nicely and leaves my skin feeling fresh and moisturized. This is the first body wash to combine ingredients from the sea and oats from the land to gently flush away impurities. You will find your skin much softer and the winter "ash" gone in no time.
Aveeno Positively Nourishing Purifying Body Wash was a decent body wash and would work well for every day use. I used an average amount on my foufou and it lathered up very nicely. The scent was clean and crisp, the kind I like in the shower. I did not have to use anymore to lather up my entire body and had left over when I rinsed out my foufou. I could have used somewhat less in the beginning. After my shower, my skin felt soft but not too dry. I would recommend this body wash for anyone.
I didn't really notice a difference every day after I used the Aveeno Bodywash. But after using it for five days, some days consecutively, I noticed that my arms were soft and smooth and all but one tiny scab from a scratch remained. My arms were very rough since that miserable two to three weeks of poison ivy; mostly because I scratched when I wasn't supposed to scratch and got infected. It's nice to have smooth skin again. I think also, that the scars on my shins are disappearing too. I can't say that this product is the sole reason for my healing, but I do believe it helped while I was taking vitamin-C supplements, among other things. The appearance of this product is a light green liquid, which has a luxurious feel on my fingers. It reminds me of cream rinse, but it isn't as thick and it isn't greasy. The first ingredient is water and that is probably why it isn't as thick. It has a pleasant perfume scent, which isn't overpowering, but it is a tad stronger than what I prefer. I wondered if this was the reason that I felt the need to extend my rinsing time in the shower. But when I dried off, I didn't feel like I left soap on my skin. I could still smell the perfume, even though ten minutes had passed since my shower. The Aveeno bodywash doesn't have a thick lather, which is actually reassuring, because the manufacturers added sodium laureth sulfate (SLS) to the formula, to give it the lathering ability. I used to never read about the ingredients in the cleansers I used on my skin. I just assumed they were good for me, especially if the product was a moisturizer. But after reading the articles about the second ingredient, sodium laureth sulfate, I became leery about continuing to use this product. I reminded myself that if the FDA and two or more dermatologists approved it, it must be safe. And that this company is in the business to make money, not pay for lawsuits. It's sad, that animals were abused during the testing of the ingredients of the formula, instead of relying solely on high-powered microscopes and other technologically advanced devices. But what they learned, is that companies could still use SLS in their products, if they added less than 1%, without the unwanted byproducts, from rearing their ugly head. As performance goes, the product deserves four stars and would achieve five stars, if they reduced the amount of perfume and removed the scary ingredients out of the formula altogether. If they did that, I think everyone would feel safer, despite all the logical reasons why they shouldn't be concerned.
