While I'm not sure about any anti-aging benefits with this face wash, it is definitely a nice, light face wash that leaves my skin feeling clean. It pumps out as a gel but foams nicely into a light lather that goes on smoothly and rinses off easily. Leaves my skin cleansed and my pores feeling just a little tightened, like an astringent might do. But not dry or uncomfortable. I don't love the scent - slightly fruity. But it's not too strong and doesn't linger so not a deal breaker. As I said, I don't really see any anti-aging benefits after using this for a couple weeks. My fine lines, wrinkles and age spots haven't changed. But just as a simple face wash, it's nice and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed at the end of the day.
I don't really use cleansers for my skin, but my skin is very dry and now that I'm older my skin health is a top priority. I actually noticed a difference from day one, along with my night cream after the cleanser I'm impressed I greatly appreciate being given the opportunity to review this product
I was given this product free for my honest review. First off, I trust Aveeno as a good skin care product. One of the reasons I selected this particular item was because of the brand name and reputation. I am 62 and have been a skincare advocate for most of my life. I've been exposed to many brand products in the past, Avon, Mary Kay (sell both), Arbonne, Clinique, and the like. I am not a name brand snob but, when I find a product I like, I will promote it, whether I'm selling it or not. This particular cleanser from Aveeno is very gentle, which I need as I have sensitive skin and have to watch what I use. This cleanser leaves my skin very soft and it does feel VERY clean. it's not that "there is no moisture left in my skin," type of clean from some cleansers that seem to zap any moisture out of your skin. This leaves a velvety smooth feel without feeling like you may have left something on your face. Those types of cleansers drive me crazy, never feel quite clean. I would recommend this clear cleanser to anyone with sensitive skin (always test first to see if you have a reaction). You'll love the way your skin feels.
This product is amazing. It is perfect for any type of face whether it's dry oily or regular. I would highly recommend this to anybody. The product smells fantastic but not an overwhelming scent. Helps remove makeup, dead skin and leave your face feeling soft and smooth.
I have never used this product before now. It has an unimpressive scent. Its texture is not too runny, not too thick, just right. It works up into a lather with very little water, more water, same lather. Being old school, I use a clean washcloth to remove it, with the washcloth being a little more than damp. I wipe it off twice. The effects are immediately noticeable. My entire face looks smoother and brighter. The annoying pours on my nose do not appear so large. My face even feels firmer to the touch and my senses. I haven't used it long enough for a long-term review, but if it works this well, it will become a regular part of my daily routine. Two thumbs up!
I gave my honey a bottle of this to test out and this is what she said about this product. The Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Facial Nourishing Anti-Aging Cleanser came in a 5.2 ounce bottle. This cleaner removes my makeup and makes my skin feel soft, clean and doesn't clog my pores. It smells amazing with a hint of blueberry. I have really sensitive skin and haven't had any problems using it. It's pump action makes it easy to use but does come out a little fast. You don't have to use much, as a little goes a long ways. This cleanser doesn't strip or dry my face out.
I was happy to receive Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Facial Nourishing Anti-Aging Cleanser in exchange for an honest review as I already use other Aveeno facial products and have been happy with them. When I first used it, it reminded me of Liquid Neutrogena cleanser that I had used when I was younger (clear amber liquid). It cleans well, removing makeup too, and without drying out your skin. It doesn't foam like their other facial cleansers I've been using, but it still leaves your skin feeling really clean and soft and smooth. I've been using twice daily for about a week now, and I have to say I like it better than the ones I had been using. Even though I was happy with the Clear Complexion foaming cleanser and Ultra-Calming facial cleanser, I think this cleanser is better suited for my aging skin. It just leaves it feeling more “nourished” (they actually chose a most appropriate term for this cleanser) and soft. Additionally, it has blueberry extract (antioxidants) and it smells wonderful (very light fragrance and it doesn't linger, but is really nice while you are cleansing) and I like the convenient style of the pump bottle. I would definitely recommend this cleanser, especially to women over 40.
Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Facial Nourishing Anti-Aging Cleanser is a great product. To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting much before I tried it. After the first use, my skin felt a little dryer so I simply used more moisturizer afterwards. By day 5, I noticed that the deep lines (laugh lines!) around both sides of my mouth were starting to diminish...and that's only after 5 days. I am looking forward to the changes after a month of using it twice daily. I intend to buy some for my friends to try as well.
This cleanser has been a pleasure to use. From its lovely smell to the wonderful clean way it leaves my face feeling I cannot recommend it high enough. One thing that I noticed is that the foundation for my make up goes on very smoothly and evenly ever since I have been using this cleanser. To be honest I did not pay for this product. I am a Spark reviewer so they send it to me for no charge but I am definitely going to be purchasing this from now on!
I have used many cleaners on my face and I have to put this one in the “ o.k. “ category. There wasn't anything wrong with this product it was just o.k. It didn't irritate my skin or leave any dry patches. It did clean my skin and left it feeling soft without that dry tight feeling which is definitely a plus. But I did not see any significant changes in my skin. It removed my eye makeup without any burning or irritation to my eyes. I do need to mention that I do not wear any waterproof eye makeup. The pump on the bottle did seem a little hard to push. And it took several pumos to get a good amount out. The product also had an odor that I wasn't expecting at all. It isn't that bad but it's not great either. I have used several Aveeno products so I wad surprised by this. Overall, the product cleanec my face, took off my makeup, didn't irritate my skin and didn't dry out my skin. Would I repurchase this? Probably not. I have other cleansers that do the same for much less money and with a much better scent.
