Used this as acoustical dampening for speaker cabinets. Great alternative to fiberglass - No itch, etc. Easy to cut or tear to fit.
I have been searching for something like this for 2 months and finally I stumbled upon it. It works great for small areas and even reduces noise. You don't have to worry about the itching and it's safe.
this multi-purpose cotton insulation does the job, not fiber glass inch, vary little dust particles... you can insulate lots of things with this stuff... not only pipes, walls, corners, and even sound absorption inside speaker/subwoofer boxes.... not hard to cut, easy to manage, good stuff to use on most type of insulation jobs, or even sound absorption.....
Fills in gaps nicely.
It is thick, good, cotton, but doesn't go far
