I am an asthmatic and this chest rub helps when I am feeling wheezy. It does not burn the chest skin, so that is a major plus. It really penetrates to help loosen up chest congestion, of course, plenty of tea and water help as well. Just make sure you get some rest when you are not at the top of your game.
one of the best natural chest rubs out on the market, it's better than vicks! i place a small about on the bottom of my 6 year olds feet with socks when i notice the slightest cough and by the next day its nonexistent. also no burning sensation at all. highly recommend.
When I recently had a very congested chest this rub helped me feel better.
I've been using this on myself and my daughter during spring allergy and cold season, and it has helped us both with nighttime breathing. I also use it on the soles of my daughter's feet when her allergies cause her to cough a lot at night. My daughter also thinks the tin makes a great teether! :-P
I don't need to have chest congestion to use this rub. I like to use it in the evening to help me relax because I find the scent is light and soothing.
This little tiny container that's made of tin is great, no plastics. A little bit of this small container goes a long way. Badger chess rub.
Love the safe ingredients
I love chest rub ointment, especially in the winter and I love the moisture this chest rub provides. On the downside, this ointment could use quite a bit more essential oil. I was expecting to have a very aromatic sensation when I opened up the tin, but was a little disappointed. The olive oil smell is a little dominant.
This balm is really solid in the tin, making it hard to get out and spread on your chest. I was disappointed in the scent as well, because it doesn't seem nearly strong enough to stand on its own as a "chest rub", like Vicks does. However, the ingredients are very good and you don't have to expose yourself to the chemicals that a product like Vicks contains. I give points for that!
I'll just make my own. no need to pay the price for such small of a quantity.
