Dresser assembly requires someone who knows what he/she is doing. I had a handyman put mine together, so that was an additional cost. But he did a great job. One of the pieces came with a damaged corner, so I emailed the company's website, and they promptly sent a replacement for the damaged piece. I also bought the Laguna bed and together they look really pretty. This set is in the guest room.
Good style and fits us perfectly. A great value.
this is for both boxes 1 and 2 because i feel the review should be for the whole product and not just separate pieces. i bought the 5 and 6 drawer dressers for my mother and they both arrived at the same time a few weeks after i ordered them just before christmas. i knew they would be delayed so i didn't worry about that too much. after opening the boxes and constructing the units, i was disappointed to find chips in the corners of some of the pieces. one of the long thin supports was broken in two and there was what i can only describe as a 'dent' in the bull-nosed front of the top piece on the 6 drawer. these units definitely need to be packaged better to decrease the amount of damage that can be caused in transit. construction was fairly easy and beginning to end took just over an hour and a half for each. lots of dust and debris from the styrofoam packaging meant lots of wiping and vacuuming during and afterwards. the drawers are SHALLOW but the depth sort of makes up for it. definitely not what i would recommend if you intend to storage heavy sweaters or bulky clothing.
First of all the shipping preparation is inadequate. The dresser came with many pieces cracked or broken and had to be glued before assemby. The assembly takes longer than expected as the various pieces are not numbered or otherwise identified to match the instructions. You have to match each piece visually to the instructions. I did not find the product a good value for the cost due to the above mentioned problems.
When I recieved my brand new dresser, I found that the top board to the dresser was cracked strait down the middle and then when one of the side boards was lifted up so it would get moved out of the way it broke it half. Also the instructions are awful there are only pictures no wrds to help at all. Furthermore when it mentions sturdy doors, I didn't think that it meant having to take each the drawer with two hands and yank as hard as you could to open it. I purchased this dresser so that my 2&4 year olds would have a pretty sturdy dresser not so they would have to find me every time they needed their dresser opened because the drawers were so hard to open. So was I satisfied no I was not wish I could return it for a full refund.
I would not recommend these products to anyone they are poorly made.
