This mattress topper was tightly packed in a carton. When "released" from the box it started expanding and did not have an unpleasant sent. We let it expand for 24 hours and then easily put on the cover and put all on top of our mattress. We used our mattress cover over this topper and cover. Since we've had it on the bed we've been sleeping soundly and waking up without stiff backs and our usual aches and pains. We love it!
The Serta twin bed before this foam topper was too firm for a comfortable nights sleep. Much of the night was spent shifting around to get relaxed. After putting on this topper, it was like sleeping on a cloud. It was so comfortable no matter in which position I slept. I now have many good nights of sleep. The foam is excellent quality, fit bed perfectly and was easy to cover with the fitted sheet. The cover provided with the topper was most convenient to keep the topper in good and clean condition. I bought 2 toppers. An excellent product and value.
We replaced the topper that came with our sleep number bed with this memory foam topper and could not be more pleased. I was startled when it came all squeezed down in a box (I had expected rolled up like a rug). However, it did expand and became two inches thick and VERY comfortable.
I bought a new mattress from a local furniture store and the mattress is great for one of us but not the other! I am now stuck with a very expensive backache. This pad makes a huge difference in the comfort of a really bad mattress purchase. I think I could have just bought this pad and saved a lot of money. I should have just replaced him, would have costed a lot less! Lesson learned...lol
I have a bad back and a lot of hip pain. I was losing sleep until I got this topper. Now my back and hips don't hurt at night. I sleep like a baby. It was easy to unpack and put on the bed. There was very little oder if any. Great price too!
I bought an extra firm mattress with the intent to purchase a 4" foam topper. After reading the reviews of the 2" Simmons topper i decided to try it. It has more than compensated for the hard mattress. The first night i slept in the same position for 6 hours without moving. I'm very pleased with the purchase and the price was right.
Bought this for My Teenage Daughters Bed. Her Pillowtop Mattress is only two to three years old I was not happy it had a rut in it already I thought this would help She LOVES it! Bed is VERY Comfortable. Yes as any Good Mom I had to lay in it first!
My mattress is 10 yrs old and instead of getting a new one I bought this. It seems pretty comfortable. Im not sure if it is really worth $100, it seems like a glorified eggcrate. Its was very flat when I bought it but it expanded nicely. Ive been sleeping on it for 2 months now and its pretty comfortable, I still have a little back pain but I think thats just me.
this product was perfect for what i needed. my guest mattress is ok...but i wanted to add a little more comfort to it. this did the trick! it is thin enough to allow the sheets to fit snuggly without popping off...but yet thick enough to add just the right amount of softness. it helped to level out the small center sag that was starting to develop. my guest (without prompting) said that the bed was "very" comfortable! :) actually, i ended up removing this from the guest bed and putting it in the master bedroom, and am very pleased with it! i now need to buy another one for the guest room. i did not have an odor issue that some of the others stated. i would definitely recommend this topper!
Overall this is a good product. I was expecting it to give me a great nights sleep like others claimed. It did help with some of my lower back pain. Even though it was not exactly what I was looking I would still recommend this to others.
