I really don't have sensitive skin, but with the heat from the furnace in the winter, I always have a problem with dry skin. It dries out drastically. This body wash is perfect for that. When combined with a lotion, it gets the job done and my skin feels soft and comfortable all day. I like that it has a gentle scent. It's clean and refreshing. Doesn't interfere with any perfume that I might wear. My grandson uses this for eczema when it flairs. Always quiets it and leaves his skin itch free. The light scent is also good for males. No girly girl smell. I would recommend this body wash for all skin types.
This Aveeno Skin Relief Gentle Body Wash is pretty good quality. I thought it was going to smell like what it's made with such as chamomile and oat but it actually has a cumber melon scent to it. It's a good thing I love the cumber melon scent! I was happy to realize this as it's been too long since I've used a cumber melon body wash. The body wash is not too thick and not runny. I think the consistency of the body wash is spot on. I could compare it to the thickness of my shampoo. The color of this body wash is more cream color then white. I love how Aveeno is a quality brand and is gentle and good with my skin. This would be a nice body wash to have for people with sensitive skin as well in my opinion. I also love how this bottle is pretty wide! I'm happy to know this will last me for a while to come. If you are thinking about giving this a try then I'd say go for it! The picture I provided of this product was the bottle with the blue cap. You can tell how big this is compared to the other products next to it. These are my honest opinions in exchange for getting this product to try. Great shipping too!
During the winter months I suffer from dry, sometimes itchy skin, and so I have to be careful with the type of cleanser I use in order to avoid irritation. I've only been using this body wash for a few days, but so far my skin is already feeling more moisturized and smooth! It lathers well and is a thick and creamy consistency, so a little bit goes a long way. The oat and chamomile scent is very nice and doesn't overpower. I've even used this as a shaving gel for my legs and it worked great and rinsed cleanly. If you have sensitive skin this is definitely worth trying.
This Aveeno Body Wash is soothing and comforting. It works magic comes the end of a long stressful day at work, it helps you to unwind and relax, does wonders for your body and soul. It has a wonderful subtle scent to it, not overbearing at all but just right. Very good for the dry sensitive skin, it brings almost instant relief. It is very gentle on the skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue unlike some other products. My skin feels soft and fresh for days on end after using this Aveeno Body Wash. My wife and I have used Aveeno Skin Relief Gentle Scent Body Wash, Soothing Oat and Chamomile, 18 Fl. Oz for the past four days. This review is a consensus of our experiences with this product over that period. This is the first time that either of us has tried any body wash. This Aveeno product is creamy with almost no scent. It leaves our skin feeling smoother and less dry than it would have been if we used soap. We both have concluded that our skin seems to be a little softer and we feel a little less skin itchiness even though we have had only four days of usage. I would expect that a more reasonable test period would have been three or four weeks. Neither of us has experienced any skin irritation or other negative effects as a result of using this product. The results thus far encourage us enough to continue using the product. If our experience over the past four days continues we will purchase more of this product when this bottle's content is used up. This body wash is very good, it even has a refreshing scent. It leaves your skin feeling very soft, smooth, and moisturizer. I like that even it has a fragrance it's still safe enough to use. It has a a silky smooth texture not oily or greasy. Lathers very good, has a good consistency. I also like the fact you can use it to shave, I have sensitive skin prone to razor rash and this is definitely good for that. This body wash is gentle enough to use everyday. This also gentle to use to wash your face with if you are prone to acne, or any other skin irritations. Overall this body wash I highly recommend, gets you clean and smelling fresh, with no irritations.
What I like best about Aveeno Skin Relief body wash in Soothing Oat and Chamomile is it works well for me especially in the winter when my skin seems to get so dry and flaky. And it helps keep it silkier and smoother feeling with out that greasy feeling that so many moisturizing products seem to leave behind. Another thing I love of course is the scent. It has a very pleasant smell that does not smell at all like it was dosed with a lot of cheap perfumes. And I especially like the color of it. A soft white almost clear. The reason the color of body wash is important to me is because bright colored ones that are red or blue or green eventually start staining my shower floor and around the drain. So This body wash works better for me also because of the nice clear/white color. I've always loved Aveeno products any way but this is the first time I tried this particular shower gel of their's.
I love this Aveeno body wash skin relief gentle scent and soothing with oats and chamomile. It has a light and pleasant scent to it and it lathers up well. It does seem to help soothe the itching of dry skin. I recommend it. Even my family recommends it too and I live in a house with my husband and son. I just received the Aveeno Skin Relief Gentle Scent Body Wash, Soothing Oat And Chamomile, 18 Fl. Oz and like it very much. Once I opened the package, the smell was nice, and not overwhelming. In the shower the body wash suds up nicely, and doesn't cause my skin to itch, irritate or dry out. If your skin tends to dry out or gets irritated, this body wash is gentle enough to use. I highly recommend this so anyone looking for something that does what it say's it'll do.
I've been using s different body wash, but I can tell it's not as refreshing or hydrating as Aveeno seems to be. I was a little disappointed by the scent. I actually couldn't smell it. Normally, when using a loofah, the scent of my body wash fills the bathroom. This one doesn't. I actually didn't realize it was scented until I was asked about it. I like the way it suds up. Very nice. It felt good on my skin when I washed, and now, a couple of hours later, my skin feels softer and still smooth. Good product.
