I used Bare Minerals for over 10 years until I realized that it was actually causing my horrific breakouts. I've also used Dermablend. This is my first drugstore foundation in years and I am SO IMPRESSED! I went to Target to buy a new foundation and was hesitant at the thought of liquid foundation. I found this AMAZING Magic Smooth Souffle' on SALE and am SO THANKFUL I DID!!! Prior to BM, I'd used all sorts of liquid foundations and THIS MAGIC SMOOTH SOUFFLE' IS THE BEST FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER USED!!!! I am a 29 year old Caucasian woman who has very acne-prone, acne-scarred, sensitive skin. I also have combination skin so my head and chin are super oily while my cheeks are often super dry; this foundation, however, WORKS ALL OVER! Magic Smooth not only COVERS my very present ACNE SCARS, but SMOOTHES OUT my incoming LINES. I am noticing my skin changing a lot as I approach 30, and this Magic Smooth gives me FLAWLESS SKIN all over! Plus, it MAGIC SMOOTH DOESN'T MAKE ME BREAKOUT! I honestly think it actually cleared my skin up! I FEEL CONFIDENT & PRETTY and it is SO EASY TO APPLY! I just use my clean hands to apply it all over my face--one shade (#520-Creamy Natural) COVERS EVERYTHING from REDNESS to the DARK CIRCLES under my eyes--no concealer needed! Also, the fact that I can apply it without a brush or other special tools makes it SUPER EASY to put on QUICKLY. It has streamlined my make-up application process and saved me time. It feels ABSOLUTELY WEIGHTLESS, like I have NO MAKE UP ON AT ALL, LOOKS TOTALLY NATURAL and has the BEST TEXTURE! And, it LASTS ALL DAY!!! I am so upset that Lorea'l is discontinuing this product. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP MAKING MAGIC SOUFFLE'!!!! Lorea'l, I'm begging you! In 15 years of wearing ALL sorts of makeup, this is the prize! I'm in love and will tell everyone I know what an AWESOME FOUNDATION this is!
okay. so i've been looking at cream foundations. i heard all the cons and the pros. so this last week i narrowed my foundation down to this or the maybelline dream smooth mousse. and i am very happy with my decision. this foundation glides on effortlessly. i have very oily skin on my face besides my cheeks they are normal + i have acne prone skin. this foundation has not broke me out. it does not make my skin shiny. and does not transfer!!!!( i set my foundation with hard candy mattifiying powder, ill be putting a review on that to) the texture is true, it makes ur skin feel like silk. but it has a strange smell to it. but i dont mind. lol um the color selection is actually very good!! i found my right match on my first try!! also. if u have scars or acne that needs to be covered up. you will need to layer this up to get more coverage. i have very dark eye circles. and this does a good job at hiding them. what else...i used my fingers to apply this. i tried a brush...eh. fingers r better. :) over all im very happy with this! so if you have oily skin! buy this!!! :D && also i found out that this foundation like to look cakey on dry areas. so ppl with dry skin. beware unless u have a good primer& moisturizer! :) basically i cant find a down side this. hope i helped someone <3
I was kind of hesitant about tying this product out because all I ever use is liquid foundation, but I'm so glad I did! For me, it took a couple tries to figure out how to properly apply it. You can't apply too much because it bunches up. It does have build able coverage if you apply little by little. I like using a brush to apply using a buffing motion.
"I Love this Product I purchased this one day when I was out. I normally wear Miracle Tint by Lancome' But sometimes I just rather go to a regular store, instead of the mall to purchase makeup. I really like it a little goes a long way, I would definitively purchase this Foundation again. Thanks L'Oreal for Saving me a trip.
I have spent the last six months trying to find a new foundation that lasts and has a matte finish. After trying many products, both high end and drug store offerings, I find this to be one of the best products available now!
I decided to buy this when I saw the commercial. I was really desperate for flawless skin and when I put this on it was like heaven! It went on so smoothly, and covered really really well. It lasted through the day and didn't make my skin very oily. (Before I put it on I used a moisturizer, and after a concealer). To put this make up on, I would recommend using a foundation brush. I saw this product used in a make-up tutorial and the artist gave it a great review so I looked it up online. It runs about $14 dollars, which is a bit pricey for a drugstore brand. I visited loreal.com which provided a $2 off coupon, so I paid around $12. The container holds a fair amount of product, but it takes a decent amount of the "souffle" to cover your entire face. Besides the price, this product is amazing. The texture of the foundation is soft and creamy, and it blends effortlessly into your skin. Unlike with liquid foundation, this product feels like you are wearing no make-up at all. I have a light-medium complexion and struggled with choosing a shade, but ended up picking "Natural Buff" which seems to be a perfect match. I would highly recommend this product, but would suggest seeking out a coupon before purchasing.

I am in love. I agree with the other reviewer who said that a little goes a long way with this makeup. I have oily skin (so, I have large pores). This stuff not only minimizes the appearance of my pores, but it really keeps the shine factor down. I've never had a makeup that keeps my skin oil free all day, but this one does a pretty good job of keeping my face from being too oily. It's so lightweight and yet the coverage is amazing. I almost don't need any concealer, which is amazing. I also use the blush and it's a perfect combination. Also, I have acne prone skin and this has not made me break out at all.
This makeup arrived completely dried up--so much so that the makeup was separated from the container around a dry blob of makeup in the middle of the jar. It must be really, really old, because I have a couple of old jars of the same makeup that I've had for 3-5 years and they are still fresh and aren't dried up at all. The seller obviously got a great deal on a supply of this discontinued makeup quite a while ago and stockpiled it to sell to unsuspecting buyers. Very unethical of this seller who should throw the remainder away if it looks like this one.
