We were looking for a wood TV stand that had multiple shelves to house all of our TV equipment. This stand not only does that but it is a very, very nice piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a TV media stand.
Over the years I've put quite a few pieces of furniture together. As soon as I opened the box and took the pieces out I could tell this was different than the others. The pieces are made out of solid wood and stained beautifully. Everything fit together perfectly. The completed unit looks absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough nice things about this media stand.
Still waiting for my husband to build this unit, but I opened the box and it appears to be very sturdy.
While I assembled this cabinet with a hand screwdriver to keep from stripping out the screws, I still had 3 screws that stripped out. However, I just broke a toothpick, stuck it in the hole and all 3 screws tightened up. Even though I had a little trouble with the screws I still rate this product a 5. It's well made, has a slight grain look like real wood would have, cleans easily and looks more expensive than it actually was.
I checked around different web sites and this was the best price I had seen. I ordered it and received it in just a short time. The stand was packed really well and all the pieces were perfect. My wife and I put it together following the instructions and labeled numbers on each piece. The stand came out great and everyone who has seen it has had a positive comment.
The piece was beautifully finished. The assembly wasn't too tough. Did have a little trouble with the placement of magnet to shut the doors, and hinges' placement, neither was well marked. They placed stickers that would not come off of the wood cleanly so now I have a sticky spot that I have to figure out how to get off of the wood. It is inside the cabinetry so it's not totally visible. But frustrating. Why don't they make the stickers easily removed?
It took a long time to finally arrive but so did everything else this season. The cabinet was packed very well, no damage at all. The unit is solidly designed and relatively easy to assemble. The finish is exactly as. Pictured. The only thing I would change is to add more adjustment shelf holes on the sides. Trying to fit my components into the shelves with their minimal adjustments was a struggle.
This piece is really nice once finished. I bought the hickory brown which is almost black. The left side was extremely difficult to put together. The holes were slightly off center causing me ALOT of frustration. Some of the holes that hold the shelves were also very small. More cursing. It took me three and a half hours to put together. I would have given 5 stars if not for that. It's beautiful once assembled.
Good quality furniture. The assembly instructions were a bit challenging. You need to sort and analyze the parts carefully. Alignment of the doors was also challenging. You should not rely solely on the instructions and drawings. Overall, it's a good quality furniture.
After careful measuring and research, I bought this piece specifically for my turntable. I don't mind assembling furniture, but the assembly of this cabinet is shameful. Using cams and lock pins just aren't effective and don't lock the unit together. Two of my cams wouldn't lock at all and the cams fell out. Another cam was exposed when a screw for the back panel broke the cam well off. And after all that, the center shelf is not as wide as described and my turntable doesn't fit!
