Wife bought for our select comfort. We have the one with minimal padding so we needed a little something and this was it. Has an obnoxious smell that went away after about 4 days. I would let it air out if we every get another. I was thinking it was just glorified egg crate stuff, but it has proved me wrong. Just hope it will have a long life span.
Purchased this Beautyrest foam topper for my husband's comfort. When he sleeps on his side his hips hurt & wakes him up. He finds the bed more comfortable since using the foam topper & wakes up less during the night. I feel this was a good purchase & would recommend it to a friend.
We purchased this mattress topper because our mattress was just not firm enough. We have a pillow top mattress that makes you feel like you've been hit by a bus by the time morning rolls around. When I picked up this item from site-to-store, I was really disappointed. It looked like something they pulled out of the corner and put plastic wrap around it. There was no bag for it, no formal packaging whatsoever. I was so thrown off by it that I seriously considered not even taking it home. Let me tell you, looks CAN be deceiving! I got it home and unwrapped it and have not had a problem sleeping since. It is so comfortable. It is definitely worth every penny.
Sleeping like a baby now. No more back or hip pain. I don't know what smell others are complaining about, there was NO smell. Like a New bed!! I love it!! I bought two, one for me and one for my son. Now we have a hard time getting up! Very Happy!
We we're looking for a quality "egg crate" mattress to put on top of our "temperpedic" type mattress and this one works great. Could not sleep on the mattress before without getting a backache, now it is a comfortable mattress.
Because of two pressure (bed) sores on my hips, my doctor suggested I find a Ribbed Geo Mat type matress which would mold to my hip outline and reduce the friction on these sore spots. I was a little apprehensive when I first unrolled the 3 inch thick pad, however, after sleeping on it for one night both my wife and I were delighted with the comfort it provided plus helping the pressure sores to be better. This mattress is for my king size bed and is used by both my wife and myself.
I have had a SleepNumber bed for 2 yrs. I hated it, continued to mess with the controls all night long to find comfort. I paid $2,500. for it and it was not worth it. Got my old mattress out and put this topper on it and wow what a difference. My back and hips do not hurt anymore. Well worht the money.
I have a sofa, which become flat and uncomfortable after two years of use. I could feel each spring and wooden bar through ,y back when I laid there. This product solved the problem. I put it on the top of the unfold sofa and converted it in to the bad. It is softer then I would like. It holds the plastic smell longer than it said on the instruction, I have it for a month now and I still feel the smell. I was looking for a full size but it was available only in queen size thus I had to cut off a topper in order get a proper size.
This topper works. I have been sleeping on it for about a week and have had much more restful sleep than I have had for quite some time. I am not waking up with a lower back ache or aching hips any longer either. It is somewhat rigid but provides proper support for your body weight. I would definitely recommend this product especially if you sleep on your side or your back.
This mattress pad has a bad plastic smell, but I've only had several weeks, so smell might go away. The pad feels cheap and isn't worth $85
