I got this shoe with the intent to use it as an everyday shoe as well as a slightly more "dressed-up" shoe for church. It has worked out great! They look nice enough to go with church clothes, but they are also comfortable enough for playtime. AND my boy isn't constantly taking off his shoes! The only thing to note is that the design on the back/side is a skull. Some people may like it, or not care, but I decided to use black marker to cover it up. Worked just fine.
Was looking for something plain and inexpensive to get my son through the summer. These are perfect not alot going on so they wil match with most everything. Very nice shoes for the price I paid!
I got these as cheap shoes for my son to mess around in over summer break. Within 2 weeks, the soles of this shoes had cracked open and split. This left my son with giant holes in the bottom of his shoes.
My kindergartener to be son is almost 6 yr old. Pick up this pair, came tied with both white and black shoe laces on both shoes, so I didn't see the problem at first. Came home. No point to use two laces on each shoe so son picked the white laces. I undo all the laces so to re-tie them they way he wanted. Shockingly I discovered the right shoe has 5 pairs of holes for you to loop the shoelace through (just like the pic Walmart has on their website), however the left shoe has 7 (SEVEN!) pairs of holes. I thought I was crazy maybe we pick up two shoes of different size... NOT SO! They're both size 11. So, the one with 5 pair holes, the holes are spaced wider, and the one with 7 holes more tightly. Needless to say this create a LOT of slack in the shoelace on the shoe that has only 5 pair of holes. Son likes it and doesn't care. But I know there's no way both shoes feel/support equally well. Is this the new trend? Geez...
