I think that "Black Hawk Down" was one of the greatest historical films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite historical films of all-time and it was also a very inspiring film. I also think that "Black Hawk Down" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, drama, mystery and suspense and a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

Awesome movie and great in Blu-Ray!
Great viewing
Never before had I heard about this battle. I can only recall Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Bosnia during the Clinton Administration. So for me, this was an eye opening experience. A great film to watch, even if you do not like war movies.
The movie is pretty good, with some very powerful imagery. The only thing wrong is that you never get enough character development going. There are so many excellent, high profile actors in this thing that it becomes more of a dizzying blur.... like a roller coster ride. Not that that's a bad thing since it's a pretty good ride... just wish it had a little more. As for the HD transfer, well that disappoints. The contrast is turned way up to the point of distraction and even annoyance at times. So while it rates high as an entertaining piece of cinema it rates poorly as a memorable one.
