The weight and feel of the brush is fine, however two major points. The brush was listed as a "best" grade brush when in fact is was a lower grade of pure. The bristles of the brush are sharp and uncomfortable to the face when applying soap. I owned a $10 cheap boar brush which provided a more comfortable than this brush. If you have ever used a brush that you liked, don't purchase this. It will only disappoint.
