Oftentimes when you buy a movie you watched 15 -20 years back, it turns out to be such a dud. Not so with Blazing Saddles. I bought this blu-ray version for my kids to see. It was too funny and the blu-ray made it look fresh and new. I highly recommend geting a copy and re-living it. My kids thought it was so much funnier than the will farrell or adam sandler type comedies. They were surprised this old school video was so comical. Mel Brooks manages to make fun of just about everybody. Best of all, the Wal-mart special price was less than $10.00 even with shipping - how can you pass it up?

Excellent Transfer to Blu Ray

Of course, this is one of the all time classics of modern comedy, so there's no concern about the content. What surprised me was how great the movie looked in Blu Ray. It was almost like seeing it again for the first time. If it's been a long time since you've seen it, or you've only watched it on TV, this is definitely worth the upgrade-and the price was less than a regular DVD.

This movie is hilarious. I own several dvd's, but chose this to be my first blu-ray. It has timeless content and pokes fun at people, race, hollywood, and stereotypes. It will be watched many times. A must for your home collection.

Mel Brooks classic crazy western about a black sheriff in an old west town where everyone is named Johnson. if you like screwball comedy you'll love blazing saddles! this blu ray version is the highest quality copy I've ever seen and at this price how could you go wrong? if you want to laugh,..this is the movie for you!
