This spinach salad kit bowl is my favorite and always buy it. Well balanced nutrition, texture and taste and priced lower than in other supermarkets with same ingredient combination. Also like it because no meat is included. This combination is filling and ample enough to enjoy as an entire meal; or good to use up leftover meat from previous meals, especially when leftover meats and poultry are home cooked seasoned, adding extra flavor to salad bowl. It is filling because other wholesome ingredients add to layers of textures.
I have ordered this salad maybe 15 times. Three of them have had rotten eggs while still in date. Today's still had four more days left. It's a good salad, but please deal with the egg issue.
Salad had a Best if Used By date of 2/12, 10 days ago. When I opened it, there is mold on the eggs
I got one that was dated October 1st delivered on October 5th
Ordered two pre packaged spinach salads and though the date on them is good, the spinach looked like crap. $12 bucks down the drain. Salads went in the garbage. Do the shoppers not take the time to look at the products, or maybe it DOES NOT MATTER since it's going out for delivery.
Almost no spinach and the spinach that was there was wilted and rotten. Photo is of the contents as they were when I opened the container.
I purchased this salad as part of a pick up delivery on August 3rd. Why would you send me food that says best used by July 30th. Make it make sense. . The spinach was already going bad.
I purchased this item without realizing the “Best if used by” date had already passed, and there is mold within the packaging which makes it inedible. I understand I should have checked more diligently before leaving the store, however, I feel it is reasonable to expect that the items available on shelves would be fresh enough to eat.
Pretty gross… the best used by day is 5/09/24. I ordered it on May 5 picked it up May 6th. The egg is absolutely repulsive It's beyond spoiled. A boiled egg last quite a while. I don't know when this egg was made but oh my goodness it is gross.
I love this salad but I purchased it and had it delivered on the 20th the expiration date says use by 5-18 .
