Got it a few days ago and already used it a couple of times with an excellent results. It is very strong and when a staple is in it is forever. Very good product. The only thing I find annoying at all is the safety issue if having to have the stapler completely flat before it will staple. After all it is a safety thing !! So quick and easy. Lightweight and so many uses.
I received the Hart brand heavy duty stapler. This thing is plastic yet feels pretty heavy duty. It does seem easier to squeeze than the traditional silver one I have, so that is a plus. It measures about 7 inches long. The end comes out just like a normal stapler to load the staples yet a new feature is that you can see them in the bottom to know how many you have left. I also like the lock feature on there. Depress the handle all the way and then switch the lock feature and that will keep the handle down. I think that is a nice safety feature and makes it alittle easier to store instead of that handle sticking out. It staples the heavy duty staples very nice. It says they are more flush than a normal stapler and I can notice some but not a huge deal. This will do staples and also brad nails, but I have not used that feature at all. I mainly need a staple gun and this one fits the bill. All around a good one that drives the staples nicely and has an easy trigger handle. I also like the lifetime limited warranty but not sure how to use that per say, atleast I know they stand behind their products with the warranty.
I am a DIY'er... I have been wanting to try to make my own canvas but never bought the tools to do so. Then I got the HART 2-in-1 Stapler to review... Now I can make my own canvas in various sizes! I love the fact that this does 2 types. It's so good and so convenient to have 2 products in 1. This has some weight to it so you will feel like you are using a substantial product. I'm on to my 4th canvas and I couldn't be happier with this product!!
I am just SO pleased with the Harts 2 in 1 Staple Gun!! I've had this project in mind for the family room for quite sometime now so when I got the Harts Staple Gun I'm like YES! I'm gonna do it! The materials are all the lower end of 1/4" plywood, 1" porch screen trim & 1/4" staples! I wasn't going to get the good stuff w/I 1st knowing I could do it and make it look right! I must say, this staple gun was a joy to work with, easy on the hand and powerful!! I'm so glad it accomodates a good variety of staple sizes, & it really plants them in good & tight, a sturdy job! The only place I didn't use staples was on the brick fireplace, believe it or not I used a small tub of ready mix concrete! It worked and that was my mission. My crown molding was nothing more that what amounts to some 1/2" quarter round, so I just cut 3" wide, 8' long slabs from a 4'x8' sheet of 1/4" plywood, then I finished the bottom of it with 1" porch screen trim. The ceiling slats are also 3" wide & 8' long cut from more of the same kind of plywood & pieced them together to make them fit the length, stapled them, caulked and painted!! The things you can do with this staple gun are as endless as your imagination!! I would, and have recommended it to friends and family...I LOVE IT!!! You will too!!
This staple gun is so much easier to use than the old clunky one I had that required so much more force. The safety lock is a nice feature as well as being able to also use 1/2 9/16 or 5/8 inch brad nails if it's a small job in addition to the standard staples. Very nice addition to your tool box for all of the corona tasks you've decided to finally tackle!
This staple gun is like the luxury of staple gun. Glad I got it. When compared to the standard one this one has a nice rubber grip to squeeze down on and that's a big deal with sweaty hands. It also have 2 level of stapling power. The lesser also requires about 40-50% less effort to pull the trigger. Great when I was reupholstering 6 chairs. No hand cramp. Next it has a lock function so no accidental use. The lock function also makes it easily retract the handle with no effort. Last the staple loader is much easier to load than the standard with a big plastic clip/locker. Ooh and it can shoot nails too.
This by far the easiest staple gun to use and easy on the hands. It is super easy to load with the squeeze tab. I like the set up where I can use brad nails with the same staple gun.
The best thing about this stapler is the easy to use handle. It's also pretty light and not huge so it's easy to store. It does not seem to be cheaply made and I expect it to last for years to come. I will be using it often though so only time will tell. We have a more heavy duty one but the handle is very hard to squeeze and I needed one for use at home on easier projects I do myself. I like to do craft projects such as my last one where I reupholstered my chairs. My next idea is to build my own bird house and this stapler will be perfect for that. There is also an area in our living room where the carpet is coming up a bit and I plan to fix that easily with this new stapler. We need to replace some trim so the brad nails will work perfectly. So far I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this stapler to others.
This stapler does not come with staples. The information on the box was a little vague on which staples could or should be used. However, it was comfortable to hold in the hand, easy to load and easy to fire. The safety is easy enough to lock/unlock but not so easy it would be accidentally unlocked.
I do not recommend this stapler. It did not come with any directions at all, so I was left wondering how to use the features and what staples to use and, of course, any safety information. Staplers aren't difficult to figure out, but I do have some staple gun staples that do not fit! I wasn't too surprised when the staples did not go into some native timber in my house, but only my 1/4" staples went into a pine board. My 9/16" and also the brad nails did not shoot flush, even when using the HI Power setting. I would recommend a different brand stapler and also get one with a Wire Guide so you can fasten wires.
