I've had several headsets over the years and have tended to avoid the over-the-ear variety because I didn't think they were comfortable. This one changed my mind, however. At first glance, it might look a little bulky, but it's surprisingly comfortable when you put it on. It comes with three different sized ear-pieces to make the fit just right. I did some testing in my car with the windows down and even at 40+ MPH, this thing was able to almost eliminate the wind noise. I suspect it's the dual microphone setup, but whatever magic they did, it was pretty impressive. Setup with my iPhone took all of about 5 seconds, once the earpiece was charged [I used the included USB cable] and, once paired, you get a battery life indicator on the phone [see picture]. It will also tell you approximate life remaining after each call. You can stream music or other audio from your mobile device which is kind of nice, but for music, I'd prefer regular headphones. I also signed up for the free [for the first year] Vocalyst service...it's a poor man's Siri, but allows you to send emails, check facebook, etc with audio commands. Pros: Surprisingly comforable, simple setup, amazing wind-noise cancellation Cons: Volume was a little quiet for me when driving [with the window open, however], looks a little like you're calling Scotty to beam you up.
This is by far the best Bluetooth I have owned in terms of volume, talk time (6 hours charged) and call quality. I like that I can also use it to listen to music when not on a call. Setup was extremely quick - a no brainer. It's large design makes it more difficult to lose BUT some may find its design (battery fits behind the ear) to be a bit unstylish and reminiscent of the older model hearing aids. The only complaint I have is the range is rather limited - I can't walk more than five feet from my phone when it starts to cut out - but it's superb volume and comfort make up for that.
I wanted to try a hands-free solution since I drive a lot and live in California where talking and driving = a ticket! This product is really cool. It's very light, convenient, and the sound quality is wonderful. The Battery life is really impressive too which is a huge bonus. It's really comfortable in the ear, you barley notice it's there. I think it's a really good value for the price and I will be getting on for my dad for his birthday.
This is by far the best bluetooth headset I have used. It lives to the mark, the call quality is great and battery life is pretty good. The voice assistance feature will read the remaining battery time and it also displays the battery status in the iPhone. Plantronics Voyager PRO+ maybe not the most stylish headset, but it is the best performance headset that I've ever used. It fits very comfortable on your ear. It has voice alerts and a battery meter when paired with your iPhone. Audio quality and wind noise reduction are also very good.
This was extremely easy to setup with my new Android Nexus phone and much more comfortable on my ear than the bluetooth I currently own. I love that you can stream music from your phone to this earpiece, although if I'm going to listen to music I will probably use a headset with two earpieces, not one. But great for a phone earpiece!
I have struggled for years to find a headset that will fit my ears. I have very small ears, close to my head and headsets would always fall off. This is the first to fit securely. Hooray!!! My husband who has the opposite ear size loves this too. It fits him as well! The calls are clear and crisp and hooking it up to my phone was a breeze. The buttons of the headset are easy to use even with gloves on I can easily answer calls, raise or lower volume, etc. I also like that the headset will tell you how long you have on your charge. When I turn it on it will say "You have 6 hours of talk time". This is by far the best headset I have ever used (I have gone thru more than 10). Thanks Plantronics for an amazing device.
If you want to hear better and sound better to others use this headset. Comfotable to wear, not weird looking. I use one driving an 18 wheeler and people tell me they can't even hear the truck. My wife uses one in her business and loves the hands free it allows. You will not regret spending the money for this one.
I just purchased this and I already love it. I have called several people and I did it outdoors with the wind blowing. I heard every word they were saying and they also heard me clearly. The audio quality is very good. I put it on and almost immediately didn't even really notice it in my ear. I will update my review after a week or 2 and give my final thoughts on the headset. For now, I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a quality headset at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong with Plantronics.
Since I live in California we may not talk on the phone and drive without a hands free device. I really liked this item, it was super easy to setup and sync to my iphone. (took 2 mins). The sound quality is good, and holds a charge for about 8 hours talk time. All and All super happy with mine.
