[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That's weird. No chicken, I mean you can barely tell. The texture is almost spot on. They taste like regular ol' breaded tenders. I'm shookith. I threw some BBQ sauce on them after I tried them plain and I'm telling you.... This is a great substitution for junk food dinner!
This was my first time trying out a plant based product. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of these nuggets. They tasted, smelled, and looked just like real chicken nuggets. Thank you @influenster for letting me try these complimentary. #EatIncogmeato #contest #complimentary @IncogmeatoUs @Influenster [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I recieved this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. I had a feeling that these were going to be pretty good but happy to say that they exceeded my expectations. They are Very affordable as well which was a pleasant surprise. I will be purchasing these in the near future! #Contest #EatIncogmeato [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I am shocked by how good these taste! These plant based nuggets are not lacking by no means! They are the same texture and crispness as authentic chicken nuggets and they taste great too, very close to the classic nugget flavor! I loved how I could treat these as I would a "regular" nugget and pop them in the air fryer. I would definitely recommend to my vegan friends missing nuggets or to a parent trying to get more variety into their child's diet or even their own. My son does not eat meat for medical reasons. We tried these nuggets, and holy cow they are good! There's a little spice to the breading that makes them really taste like chicken nuggets. The inside texture is pretty similar to a fast food nugget. We cooked them in the oven on a crisper pan and they were not mushy. Each nugget is about 2 inches long: pictured here with Pirate's Booty for reference. I would definitely choose to eat these again even as a meat eater :)
I prefer Morningstar Farms meatless alternatives over the other brands. I tried the tenders today for the first time and they are now my favorite. I have nothing negative to say about the taste or texture. Perfect for vegetarians.
These werent my favorite. I am a big meat eater, but they surprisingly werent bad either. If I was to go vegan then I would definitely not mind these. I made them for my daughter and she didnt care for them, but then again shes 6. Lol. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work for what they are, but expect a chicken nugget feel rather than chicken strip. It does have the texture of blended up and reformed chicken mush. Visually when you cut into it, it looks like slightly dry chicken. They also get soggy really fast (even with spraying the outside with oil to make them crisp up). So don't let them sit out before serving. Flavor wise- They have the classic heavy soy taste. Just like a tofurkey, which isn't bad per say - you just won't be trick someone into thinking its not plant based. My partner who is on the picky side grumbled a bit about them, but still ate them when dipped in cauliflower mac n cheese sauce. The dog ate her whole plate without complaints. (She does tend to spit food out and growl when she doesn't like it). Personally, I am not sure I would buy these again. It was better than biting into woody chicken- but the carb count is really high and hard to fit into a diet, and the taste is not something I would go back for. I have not really eaten or wanted to eat chicken nuggets in probably 20 ish years, so I may just be biased. I think I would go for a grilled option instead (do they make those?) Since these are more nugget like than strip like.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chicken tenders were pretty tasty. They weren't as good as some other vegan foods I've had before though. I probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I really couldn't tell the difference between this and real chicken though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They come in a 12 pack. I cooked them in the air fryer (as I normally do for chicken tenders) and they were okay! I didn't eat them as a comparison to chicken. I ate them as their own entity and they were okay. Not a whole lot of flavor, so we ate with ranch, but then the ranch overpowered and you couldn't even taste the tender. The texture was good and the coating had a nice crunch. If I was veg or vegan and I was craving a tender they would be good. But as a standalone I felt they could improve on the flavor.
