I bought this for my young son's twin size bunk bed. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable and this foam made it very soft. Now my older kids want one for their mattress too (LOL). It does have a strong smell the first few days but other than that, it has made a world of difference.
This is a comfortable mattress topper that adds comfort to any bed, a worthwhile purchase.
it is like having a new mattress without the high cost. I can replace this MANY times instead of buying a new mattress I have it under the mattress pad, directly on the mattress.
I just got new bunkbeds. But, the mattresses are those hard bunkies. I wanted my grandkids to be comfortable when they stay. They stay a few nights a week b/c their mom goes to college. I immediately put these on and they go to sleep really well on these. Believe me, they don't want to get up in the morning. I ask them if they're comfortable and they say they are. I have a 2" on my queen size bed and it's been like night and day about sleeping. These are well worth buying.
Previous to ordering this memory foam we ordered a two inch in another brand, which was so thick and soft I sunk into it and it killed my back. This is soft, while not being TOO soft. It is not a true 1 1/2 inches, but turned out to be just the right thickness for our firm mattress to make it comfy again. The cut on the foam was quite sloppy along the edges, but other than that I am pleased with the quality, and it has no odor, which was a plus for me as I'm chemically sensitive.
I ordered this mattress topper for my son who is 7 years old. I have other memory foam mattress toppers and this topper is much lighter in weight. But it does the job! It made my son's mattress much more comfortable!
This product is comfortable. It is a little small for our mattress. It was very wrinkled when it arrived, but it seems to be flattening out as we use it.
We wanted these for guest beds in a vacation home, so they will get infrequent use. I've slept on better, but, for the price, you can't beat these. Just enough "cush" to make it very comfortable. Good density foam. I'd buy it again.
This mattress topper is not as dense or supportive as the 2.5" one we purchased from Sam's Club for our own bed, but it made the bed in our hosts' guest bedroom much more comfortable. We have left it as a gift (and for us on our next visit).
I ordered 2 of these for twin beds to be slept on this summer by college students. They are thick enough but entirely too small for the mattress size. I would say that there is at least a 2 inch margin on each side, top and bottom that they don't reach. Our mattresses are standard twin size.
