Everyone LOVES the chairs! They are SO comfortable... nice and wide, slightly sloped seat toward the back - perfect for relaxing and also for eating, etc. Hosted a cookout this past weekend... and I tried to snag the chair whenever possible! The table is a good size for two people but can hold more than just two plates...
Sturdy. Just the right size for 1-2 people. Cushions are really nice with ingenious clip to hold them on.
I was worried about missing pieces after reading the other review but luckily everything was in the box and the table and chairs went together easily. The chair seats are long and broad and the whole set is very sturdy. The cushions are good quality and the set overall looks way more expensive than it was. A+
This table and chair set took me by myself about 25 to 30 minutes to put together. The instructions were very easy and simple to follow and read, all of the tools and supplies needed to put it together came with it. Overall this was a very good purchase for the price I paid for it!!
I should mention that I got this item on clearance, this color is sold out and the only other set on Walmart.com is already on clearance for $50. I needed a low cost set for my patio, that would not blow away or sun fade. I like that the seats are removable. It came in a large box with the chairs assembled and only the table needed to be put together. Some of the parts do not seem to be iron, but aluminum, that said it still stand up to wind. Nothing has blown over. The only disappointment was that the chairs have a nylon mesh for the seats, under the cushions. I was hoping it was solid, so if I had to replace the cushions. We will see how the mesh handles in the sun. I expect I may have to leave the cushions on the chairs, let them wear in the sun and replace. Oh well, it is a good set. We are in Arizona, so sun fade is more important to me. That said the black set will burn you if you sit on it in the sun like any other metal, but I can spray with the hose and it cools quickly. Excellent price, even the Walmart associate at the door looked at my receipt and said "you got a good deal."
I picked this set up for $50 on sale. I wouldn't have paid the retail price of $98 but this is a nice set for around $50. It has been rainined on many times and the cushions are good as new. one of the chairs arrived bent so you have to sit very upright in it. The table is kind of a pain the put together but what do you expect for $50? Once it is together, it seems sturdy.
The table is nice and looks perfect on my porch, but it really has been a pain getting everything I need for it. I did site to store- so, that is a couple weeks wait. When I got the table it was missing the hardware for the table. I called the manufacturer as instructed on the assembly instructions- they said it would be another 10-14 days to get the hardware becuase it was coming from Canada. It came in within 1 week and was wrong: not enough screws and the wrong colored covers for the screws!! Now I have to call them between their unusual hours. I would get this product from the store and make sure all the parts are in it- I do not recommend ordering the product.
The crossmembers that hold the chairs together are attached via screws. These screws were broken upon arrival (ship to store). The screws appeared to be a hard plastic...... they were absolutely not metal philips screws. Also the outside "wrought iron" is probably 0.1 mm thick and was chipping off in 1" chunks in various places around the furniture. I unpacked, inspected, repacked, and returned.
