I needed this part to complete a $200 project and failed to order this when I ordered all my parts from another company. This part was all chrome which was a pleasant surprise. The only drawback was it should have taken 4-5 days to deliver this item and it took 2 weeks. Good thing delivery was free.
This happens to be the best antenna stud on the market. It features a teflon insulator. The plastic insulators on cheap studs crack and fail, which can burn up a radio. Buy high quality American-buy Firestik.
Easy to install and radio gets good reception and output seems good
