This is a very simple and cheap blanket, but for some reason my 6 month old son can't get enough of it. I am not sure if its the different colors or because its silky on one side. But he takes it with us everywhere and holds it in his hands and plays with it. I am very pleased with this blanket, its great!
My 6 month old daughter loves this blankie! Her Memaw gave it to her... she instantly fell in love with it. It's fuzzy and soft on one side, smooth and silky on the other... with little satin tags all around. She plays with it all the time and loves chewing on the little tags!
The blankie is very small, not at all as big as a regular baby blanket. But it is not intended to be a regular baby blanket, it is for comforting a young child. It is very, very soft to the touch, with gentle colors. It is light weight, and easy for a tiny hand to hold and carry around. It is not to cover the child when he or she is sleeping, but it is warm and soft. I wish I had one of these when I was a little kid.
Who knew a blankie could provide such comfort! My daughter has LOVED it since she was 6 weeks old and continue to at 10 months. We were about to start sleep training around 4 months and that's when we decided we'd let her take the blankie to sleep with her and no training was necessary - all she needed was to rub the blankie on her face and fall asleep! She loves the feel of it on her face and I often find her touching the little tags on the edges.
My twins have had these blankies since they were newborns and they have stood the test of time (they are 3 now). My daughter has hers every day. We have 2 spares so they can be washed. Love these!
I got this for my son when he was 2 months old! He loves it! Carries it around and sleeps with it. We have bought about 9 more for backups and are down to about 5. Now our Walmart doesn't carry them anymore! They are little, meant for a security blanket. They are really soft! We've washed them ALOT and are still soft and look new!!!!
I love this. I just wish they made it like the other ones I have. Their Tags around the edge were larger & they were all different (courderoy, plush, sliky and fo-suade & blue/pink instead f this neutral green). My daughter loves this blankie, she's so attached to them for nap time & going nigh-night, when she's just plain old upset or in a new place. It's just the right size, so when she's walking/running she doesn't trip & fall. (the picture is her old one!She was about 3 moths old, now she's 14 months & we cart this thing around everywhere!)
This blanket is very sweet. I read lots of reviews and knew what I was getting. My oldest son has the blue one (that he still totes around after two years) with tags made from different materials. I wish this one had the same (instead of each tag being made of satin) but I knew this before I got it. It arrived sooner than I was expecting which is always wonderful. I'd definitely recommend this to someone looking for a tag blanket (even if my 1 year old has rejected it:). We just might be saving this blanket for any future babies :).
My brother picked this blankie out for my daughter when she was a few months old and she still can not sleep without it. The flaps and textures are great for those little exploring fingers. However, after a few hundred washes in the machine, this silky side did start to pill and those exploring fingers are great at picking out the tiniest bumps which accompany long strands of silky string --not so good for kids who eat stuff. This isn't a problem for us, so this baby item is the first thing on our list when we have a baby shower to attend! Wash inside a pillow case and keep it away from velcro and you'll be all set.
beware the product i received is not the one shown in picture. it was the same colors & made similar to what is shown, but did not have the different shapes or textures as shown. it was purchased to replace one my 2yr old had that was lost.
